This is a quiet, family friendly destination and with respect to the neighbouring properties and the serenity of the area we kindly ask that noise is kept to a minimum, particularly in the evenings. We are committed to preserving the peaceful nature of the area and therefore have a strict policy that no parties, events, schoolies bookings will be accepted. If any damages occur during the stay, the original payment method may be charged. In protecting the wildlife and in terms of the house regulations we are unable to accept any pets at the property. There are many Water Taxi’s operating in the area also with many departure points along the Gold Coast Waterways including from Main Beach, Runaway Bay, Sanctuary Cove, Paradise Point and more. This needs to be booked separately as we do not provide transfers. Please note that there is no supermarket on the island, so guests are requested to bring along food and beverages for their stay. Couran Cove Island Resort and Tipplers both have cafes, they can be reached by boat / jet ski also. The beauty of the surf beach is an approximate 2km walk on a sandy track, passing through rainforest, coastal forests, woodlands, and sand dunes. South Stradbroke Island Conservation Park features 22km of pristine white surf beach on the eastern side of the island with great spots to view humpback whales migrating between July and October. The calm waterways of The Broadwater on the western side are perfect for paddling and other water sports.
