Little Yellow House
The Little Yellow House in Spring City, Utah is a great place to enjoy a quiet family getaway. The space About this Home Our Little Yellow House, located on a one-acre lot in the peaceful rural town of Spring City, UT is a pioneer home built about 1895. While being located just 1 ½ blocks from the center of town, the view to the west of the house is wide open and breathtakingly beautiful. Water from the main town spring flows in a tiny stream in front of the house. Our home features three bedrooms. The master bedroom, located on the main floor, has a queen bed and its own private bathroom. The second bedroom, upstairs, features a queen bed and a twin bed. The third bedroom, also upstairs, has two double beds. The home has three bathrooms. The master bathroom has all kinds of character with stained glass door, a claw-foot bathtub (so be sure to allow time for a good soak). A second bathroom is upstairs for the two bedrooms to share, and another ½ bath on the main floor off the kitchen. Enjoy meals in our darling kitchen and games and puzzles in the cozy family room. The home does not have a television, which we consider a bonus. Internet is available to guests. The home comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Enjoy fresh air on the front porch rocker and chairs or watch the sunset off the side porch outside the kitchen. Other things to note Guest Access NO CAMPERS, RV’s or MOTORHOMES allowed for additional sleeping in accordance with a Spring City ordinance. About Spring City In 2010, Spring City was recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of “America’s prettiest towns.” Since then, it has only gotten better. The drive through the country on the way to Spring City is picturesque year round and adds to the peace and calm you will enjoy during your stay. The entire town of Spring City is listed on the National Historic Register. It is known for its many pioneer historic homes, many of which have been lovingly preserved and restored. There are many things to explore in the surrounding areas including Palisades Lake, hiking in Maple Canyon, and boating at Lake Yuba. We enjoy taking walks through the historic town and enjoying views of the mountains and surrounding countryside. We also recommend the two local eateries, Das Café and Roots 89 Grill; we also recommend visits to the Spring City Arts Gallery and Horseshoe Mountain Pottery all located on Main Street.
