As a former rustic fishing lodge, this former 'cook's quarters' has been newly renovated - and has a bright open concept main area perfect for 4 season group getaways. The cabin sleeps 7, has a vaulted ceiling which creates a cozy and relaxing space with an indoor/outdoor fireplace and outdoor deck with BBQ, just a few steps away from the lake. From paddling adventures, hikes, and fishing to reading a book and enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars, North Frontenac Lodge offers an experience away from a fast-paced, complicated life that encourages you to breathe and feel nature as it is meant to be. In the Winter months enjoy snowshoeing, ice fishing, walking on the lake for hiking adventures or bring your snowmobile and explore the trails. Willow Cabin is a 1940s classic Canadian experience. Willow cabin was the former cook's quarters of fishing lodge, and has just been renovated and updated. This 4 season 2 bedroom, plus loft cabin has a vaulted pine ceiling and lots of open living space, creating a cozy and relaxing space with a large outdoor deck just a few steps away from the lake. The cabin is equipped and ready with all necessities and essentials for a family getaway or a unique adventurous stay for those looking to unplug and relax. Willow includes a master bedroom with king bed, a second bedroom with queen/single bunk beds, a loft with a queen bed, and a fold out ottoman. Willow has a full bathroom with tub/shower. The kitchen is stocked and has a dining area that seats 9 with a table and island seating for 4. The deck has a dining and seating area overlooking the lake, with a fireplace and BBQ. The cabin has many windows and makes Willow a perfect spot to enjoy the essence of nature. Enjoy the best night sky in Ontario right beside the fire, either at your cabin, the firepit on the beach, or the common area, right in the centre of the property. There is two main access to the lake on both sides of the lodge. The back dock is perfect for diving, swimming, and fishing. The main dock is on the beach and gradually inclines into the water. North Frontenac Lodge has a beautiful sense of community, and we’ve seen many guests leave as friends. Pets are always welcome to join your adventures at the lodge. Come experience any of the 4 seasons at Willow Cabin - an adventure is waiting. Linens are provided. If your party is larger than seven people and you require more sleeping space, we offer a newly renovated Bunkie that accommodates two more guests. Please let us know if you are interested in reserving the Fern Bunkie, available to all our guests for $75/night (including cleaning). If you’re looking for a special place for a family/friend reunion, friends glamping trip or any other special occasion, and you want to consider renting the 5 Lodge cabins, please let us know; we can plan with you to ensure that whatever event is on your horizon has the perfect setting to make a lifetime memory. Guest access The 3 acre property is shared with 5 cabins at the Lodge. The waterfront, wood burning hot tub, water amenities (kayaks, canoes, pedal boat, SUPs, row boat) are shared with 5 cabins in the summer and during the Winter months only 2 of the cabins are open to guests. Other things to note If you're visiting the Lodge in the Winter months, please be sure that you have Winter Tires and your vehicle is either AWD or 4X4 - the roads are plowed, however they can be snow covered. Parking is available on-site for all guests. If you bring your boat, there is parking for your trailer. *Power outages due to storms are always a possibility in cottage country. Typically, power is restored within a few hours if this should happen. Cottages will be stocked with candles and flashlights for guest safety.
