Bring your furry family members along — up to 2 dogs welcome with a $100 pet fee (not included in the booking total). Please contact us after booking to add the pet fee. 🌄 Adventure Awaits You’ll be in the perfect spot to explore Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake — both within easy reach! Enjoy rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, fishing, zip lining, and sightseeing, plus local dining favorites like Miguel’s Pizza. Natural Bridge State Park, Nada Tunnel, and The Gorge Underground – less than 40 minutes away Long Bow Boat Dock (Cave Run Lake) – only 15 minutes away! 🌳 About the Nature Preserve The Alice Rocks Nature Preserve spans approximately 250 acres of pristine wilderness with miles of hiking trails and striking cliff formations. Access is by permit only and must be arranged in advance through the Preserve’s website. - Dogs permitted with $100 fee. (Dogs only; maximum 2 allowed. Dogs need to be crated if left at the property alone.) Pet fee does not automatically add to your balance, please contact us to apply after booking. - Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival. - No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in the area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out. . - Guests can access the land in front of the cabin spanning from the bottom of the N hillside behind the cabin down to Beaver Creek on the S. On the W guests can go from the small creek to the front of the Barn on the E. Access up the hillside road to the N is not allowed for guests unless they have obtained a permit to enter the Alice Rocks Nature Preserve on their website. - The cellar, pump house, and barn are not accessible to cabin guests - The firepit may be used in accordance with the Menifee County Fire Protection District. No other smoking, burning or fires are allowed. They typically regulate fires between 2/15-4/30 and 10/1-12/15 with fires being allowed from 6PM to 6AM. Fires must be attended until extinguished and put completely out.
