Quiet Rural Home with a View of America's Mountain

Rural country setting on 4 acres but only a 5 minute drive to shopping and restaurants in nearby Florence. Beautiful views of Pikes Peak and the Wet mountains. Plenty of free parking. Great outdoor activities nearby like the Royal Gorge, zip lining, Arkansas river rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, and the Canon City River Walk. There's even a local ski resort, Monarch Mountain, to check out on your winter visit! Or just come relax on the deck and enjoy the view. The space Antiques decorate all corners of my home to celebrate the atmosphere of the nearby town of Florence. My collection of strawberry knickknacks gives "Strawberry Cottage" a warm, welcoming feel. Recent updates including luxury vinyl flooring, new bathroom countertops and fixtures, granite kitchen countertops, and all stainless-steel appliances make for a clean, modern style. Guest access The entire home and deck are available except for a third bedroom and garage used for personal storage. The back acreage is also open to explore up to an overlook of the Arroyo and bluffs to the west. There is no fence for pets. Other things to note Although the home does not have true air conditioning, an evaporative cooling system common in dry climates keeps the home comfortable in the warm summer months. Because the home is in a semi arid environment, many cactus are growing nearby. Be careful when out exploring or taking your 4 legged friends on a walk.
