Nestled directly on the beautiful Mary Lake in Port Sydney, Muskoka, Hoth’s House is a modern, luxury cottage with unforgettable views and all the amenities to keep you cozy and entertained! The expansive windows provide cliffside views of picturesque Mary Lake. Newly renovated, modern decor and high-end appliances will make your stay a relaxing retreat from beginning to end. The cottage is secluded and sits on 1.9 acres of lush, mature forest and is only a 5-minute walk to Port Sydney Beach. The space Outside: A spacious deck with gorgeous views of Mary Lake is surrounded by a large yard and mature forests. Unlike other cottages, Hoth’s House is secluded making for a private, quiet retreat. A fire pit with ample seating is perfect for intimate conversations and taking in stunning views. Afterward, retreat to nearby Port Sydney Beach, only a five minute walk or two minute drive from the cottage with designated parking available. Living Rooms: Yes, there are two! The two living areas are on either side of the kitchen making for a large common area for socializing and spending time with family. Comfy couches and chairs are waiting for you after a long day of play at the beach or exploring nearby towns. Warm up by the wood burning stove in one living area or curl up on the couch in the other to enjoy your favorite Netflix show on the giant flat screen TV. A relaxing swing near the fireplace provides the perfect picture opportunity. A large desk makes for the perfect remote workspace. Streaming services are available for memorable family movie nights. The cottage is also equipped with Wi-Fi for laptops and devices. The dining room: a large wood dining room table seats eight comfortably for meals with family and friends. Silverware, plates, and glasses are provided. The table is also big enough for games or a casual hangout. The dining room is open to both the living room and kitchen, making it easy for the cook to stay involved in the conversation. The kitchen: Wake up to your morning coffee from the Keurig or French press. The kitchen is fully equipped with luxury stainless steel appliances including a gas stove and all the utensils you need to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bedrooms: Four spacious bedrooms (3 king size, 1 queen size) await your weary bones and make for a peaceful night's sleep. One bedroom is equipped with a small treadmill for your morning cardio. Each bedroom is equipped with a comfy mattress and a large wardrobe for storing your clothing. Bathrooms: Each luxurious bathroom is equipped with modern fixtures, a double vanity, and a large walk-in shower. We provide one face towel and two bath towels per person. We take extra care to ensure the cottage is cleaned and properly maintained so that your stay will be as comfortable as possible. In addition, we provide coffee for the French press, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, dishwasher pods, bath towels, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand soap, and dish soap. Have fun! But there are a few house rules we would like to mention. 1. No parties or events whatsoever. 2. We run on septic. Please only flush toilet paper and nothing else. 3. No smoking. 4. No pets. 5. All shoes must be taken off at entry. 6. Neighborhood quiet hours begin at 10 pm. Breaking any of these rules or damaging the home may result in charges up to $500. Check in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am. Early check in or late check out MAY be available per request. *MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD TO RENT.
