A morning cup of coffee on the porch could include encounters with anything from deer to turkeys with cries of hawks as a backdrop. Sit on the screened patio at night and listen for the owls and whippoorwill. On a clear night, the sky is amazing! A place of respite and restoration. Home is ADA compliant, ramp to single step into front door upon request. The space 2 bedroom, 1 bath efficiently designed house with a unique 3 sided screened in wrap around porch that is very private. The bathroom has a large walk-in/roll in shower with a bench and an extra long spray nozzle. The entire property is fenced and the house has a fenced backyard. This is a rural property so bugs can be expected. Guest access Guests are free to explore the open 10 acres, limited only to any gate that is closed. Other things to note Nearby places include: Manatee and Fanning Springs; Clay Landing and Fanning Springs boat ramps; Rails to Trails; Suwannee River Fair and Livestock Pavilion, Chiefland Astronomical Village, Lower Suwannee Refuge, Andrews Wildlife Management Area. Less than an hour to Cedar Key. Approximately an hour to Gainesville, Ocala, and Crystal River. Nearby kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing, biking, hunting, scalloping, shrimping and diving. The night sky is beautiful and a great place to star gaze or watch meteor showers, with or without the aid of your telescope. There is high speed internet but you must stream your own channels on the Roku TVs. For those showing large animals at the Suwannee River Fair and Livestock Pavilion, we may have temporary space for your livestock upon request during your stay (see photos).
