Centrally located, only 6 minutes from downtown, Lake Michigan, minutes from shopping/restaurants, the State Fair Grounds, a few blocks from the VA & Miller Stadium. I am a German transplant who loves adventure and travels and I would like for my guests to have the amenities that I am looking for when traveling/being on the road. The space The room is very spacious and features a beautiful hardwood floor and crown molding. Work at the desk, or relax on the couch while watching tv or using any of the Roku features of the TV. I have free wifi available to connect your devices. I have a sound machine to get you restful sleep, and an oil diffuser available to help you relax and de-stress if you like. There is an assigned parking spot in the back of the building, just let me know that you would like the parking spot. Guest access Kitchen and bathroom are shared. In the warmer months feel free to use the patio. I have a mini Crossfit gym in the basement and the Hank Aaron Bike Trail (great for biking, walking and running) is only a few blocks away and will get you Downtown, to the lakefront, and goes on for many miles. During your stay I work from home and will be around for most of the time, but your stay can be as private or as social as you choose, as I understand the need for privacy during your trip. Let me know if you'd like any recommendations for sight-seeing or guidance on public transit, as I am always available for any questions or concerns and if you don't see me around I am just an Airbnb message away! Other things to note If you love a good cup of coffee, I can make or show you how to make one with the Aeropress! There is a mini Keurig and mini fridge in your room for added convenience. I have a cat named Felix who is super sweet and loving. He is in typical siamese fashion an explorer and will probably greet you at the door. If you have pet allergies or don't like cats please be advised.
