The Flying Carpet has its own spaces that is specifically created and designed just for the guests staying in the treehouse. We have designed the space underneath with cozy seating areas, enjoy swinging in the 2 hanging Egg chairs, relax in the Hot Tub that has a built-in cooler just add the drinks and ice, Propane Firepit, Outdoor shower with Moroccan tile and Teak wood floor, Grill Station, Games and Smart TV with Roku to watch your favorites. We are still in the process of adding more outdoor spaces and landscaping so please be patient with us, it is definitely a work in progress. There are so many details we want to add but it takes a lot of time. It has always been our dream to be able to offer hospitality, so when the door opened to become Airbnb Host, we stepped thru it immediately and have loved every minute of it. Our main focus is our guests, and we respect your wishes, so if you want to meet us and talk, we are available and would love too. But if you prefer to be left alone and have complete solitude, then we totally understand and will make sure you have it. We will, however, be available 24/7 if you need absolutely anything at all and will do our best to accommodate. Approx. 7 miles from downtown. The area surrounding us is farm/rural until you come down the road a mile off main hwy to our little area that is all surrounded by woods and has a beautiful creek flowing thru our property. Gives the feeling of being in the Smokies Mountains! Be prepared to go on a bit of an adventure, to access the treehouse we have a gravel path thru the woods wide enough for small vehicles, but if you don't feel comfortable driving your vehicle, we have a Kawasaki UTV for guest to use during their stay. We ask that you bring 1 vehicle, no more than 2 as we are very limited on parking. There are restrictions when using the UTV. Do not drive off of the property as it isn't street legal. You are responsible for any damage done while in your care. If you choose to drive your own vehicle to the treehouse there is a small parking area big enough for 1 vehicle. If you choose to use the Kawasaki you will park your vehicle at our house and drive the Kawasaki from our house to the treehouse. It is quite a scenic drive thru the woods, following the creek. You will see alot of beautiful plants, foliage, trees, all kinds of birds and may catch a glimpse of river otters or beavers if your lucky!! We offer several different packages. I can send the link for our Host store once booking is made. If we don't have the package you want, we are more than happy to custom make a package to your liking. If you want a few grocery items stocked, the treehouse decorated for a special event or some quick meals to pop in the oven from our local Southern eats. We welcome every guest with a Turkish Delight in the small covered, copper dish on the bed. If you've never tried one, you're in for a real treat!!!
