Southside Creek, a forest in the city

This stylish place is perfect for visitors wanting nature, yet be 5 minutes from the bustling Pittsburgh Northside, Southside, Downtown, & East end!. (Note, especially the NFL DRAFT activities!) You can surprise the deer while having coffee on the back deck! BTW: Huge countertop & 60" tv, so bring the fun in! ;-) Feel like you’re sailing away when you go to bed in the cozy Shiplap covered ‘A’ framed bedroom. The space House opens up to a large living room and kitchen space. The open floor plan lets you see all the way back into the trees. The kitchen is fully stocked to entertain. Enjoy spreading things out onto the glossy concrete countertop. If the weather is nice, you can take your meals out onto the deck! The wide steps will take you to the cute and cozy upper floor. There are tall ceilings (A-frame styled) with a tiny loft on one side. The roofline has so many angles, we decided to accentuate even more lines with the shiplap walls throughout. It almost gives you a 'cottage', or seaside, feeling. Guest access The house is yours to enjoy. You have your own street side entrance, directly into the house. You'll have the 1st and 2nd floor all to yourself. (There is a lower floor, but those guests would have their own entrance, own deck and side porch.) Other things to note Families: If you have a child under 14 or so, there's plenty of space to bring in an air mattress, or let them use the couch to sleep. As a parent of twins, we always looked for places that could 'fit' us comfortably. This place is pretty spacious. We aren't comfortable with 3-4 adults as there is a floor below and that could get a little distracting for the tenant below. (we want everyone to be happy!) Extended Stayers: The closet provides ample room for those extended stays. Turn the desk into a vanity to prepare for the day out - or just keep it a desk and work from home! Plus, enjoy the convenience of the high tech stackable washer and dryer right near the kitchen. (especially if you are a nurse that needs frequent access to laundry!)
