Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This Cabin is nestled on the southeast shore of AuTrain Lake with a shared dock overlooking the lake. It is a short drive to the Beach on Lake Superior and the AuTrain River. This is a great location for spending time on the lake, or as a home base for all of the local attractions this area has to offer. Within 20 minutes you are in Munising where you can do the Pictured Rocks cruise, Shipwreck Tour or Kayak tour and many more. The space The cabin is exactly what you would expect if you are looking to stay in an original UP cabin on the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals for up to 6 guests. As you walk past, you'll enter the main living area with a TV with WiFi and Roku for streaming. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Two queen size beds, and a futon in the living room for a total capacity of 6. There's seating on the screened porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over the lake. Guest access Feel free to bring your boat, there's a public boat launch 3 miles down the road and dock it right at the cabin. There's room for your boat trailer on the property. There is a gas grill big enough to cook meals for everyone and a nice fire pit area right next to the water. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy the UP next to the lake with a fire, outdoors, each other and the stars..... This is a pet friendly cabin for responsible pet owners Other things to note This cabin is located a few steps from a bigger cabin, Da Sunrise Cabin that hosts up to 8 guests. That's why we call it Da Guest House and that's why the dock is shared.
