Sanctum by the Lake

Looking for a place to bring the family, or a get-a-away with friends? This is it! From the light and airy design that makes it feel like home to the large pool, hot tub, and lake access, The Sanctum by the Lake has everything you need for a great stay. It is a short 100 yard walk from the lake and a quick drive to Canobie Lake Park and Manchester Airport, 45 minutes to Boston or the NH Seacoast, close to the Lakes Region, White mountains, and great skiing spots as well as the famous NH Outlets. The space This bright and airy, open concept, duplex home, located in the middle of a small lake-side community, has everything you need for your stay. There are 2 master bedrooms, both with new king size beds and picture windows with a view of the back yard and the lake beyond, a 3rd bedroom with a large bunk bed (full size on the bottom and twin on the top), full bathroom, large kitchen with a full granite breakfast bar that seats 3, a spacious living room with 65" mounted smart tv and large sectional couch to watch it from, and a cute little dining area with a view. The bedrooms all have their own heater/air conditioner for personalized temperature control, and both master bedrooms have personal access to the back yard deck, and one of the master bedrooms also has its own 55" wall mounted smart tv as well. The bathroom has a full stand up shower with a large sitting area for those who need that and a full size washer/dryer. The kitchen is spacious, modern, and has all of the appliances you could need for your stay, with new oven/stove, granite countertops, sink and faucets, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and fully stocked cabinets with everything you'll need. The living room is furnished with a large and comfy couch with oversized cushions, as well as a surprisingly comfortable accent chair to relax in. There is also a 4k, smart tv fully loaded with all your favorite viewing apps (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Youtube, Youtube TV, Disney+, ESPN app, and others) for you to log in to with your account, or if you don't have any of those services, there are free tv apps available as well, and of course, free WiFi throughout the place. The Sanctum by the Lake is the larger "east side" part of a duplex style house. It is in a quiet and private area of the lake community with the only close neighbor being the smaller "west side" part of the house. Neither place has access to the other. You will be given an access code for the electronic touch pad lock on the front door, which will be good for the duration of your stay. There is off-street parking for up to 2 cars in the front driveway as well as 2 more parking spots available in the half circle driveway behind the house to the right. The Backyard is a good size although half of it is taken up by the 7 person hot tub and the large pool in the middle of the back yard. Even so, there is a good amount of space for yard games and having fun! The back yard, the hot tub, and the pool are all private and you will have exclusive, private access to each for your entire stay. (Quick note on the pool: It is only open during the summer season and is closed down for the season on the first Tuesday after Labor day each year.) There is no beach access but there is shared private lake access for boating and swimming at the end of the private road leading to the lake. There are shared kayaks, paddles, and life jackets available to use in the large shed to the left side of the property. The Sanctum by the Lake sleeps 7 guests comfortably which makes it ideal for a family trip, shared trip with other couples or friends looking for a relaxing time with lake views and access, or even a private time for people who like their space Guest access You will have full access to the east side home, parking, back yard, and anything else available. There is a separate AirBnB west side home, which is physically connected to the east side home, but there is no access from one side to the other. You will simply be neighbors. Other things to note This is a quiet lake side community and is not conducive to loud parties or party-size groups. Because of that, hosting parties are not allowed at this property. "Party" is defined as "having more people than the amount you booked for (maximum 7 people) on the property". It is also strictly smoke-free. Pets are not allowed without express and specific permission given by the hosts. Although we do provide the essential needs (hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, towels, sheets, blankets) we do not provide personal toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc due to the massive variety of options and people’s very personal preferences as well as sensitivities to different scents and ingredients. The refrigerator water/ice maker is not working. It does NOT provide water or ice. There are a good amount of shopping options very close by to get anything you may need if you happen to not be traveling with these items. Lastly, the shower handle works differently than most. The further you turn the shower handle the colder the water will get. To turn the shower water to hot, just turn the handle slightly, just enough to turn the shower on. The pool is only open during the summer season and is closed down for the season on the first Tuesday after Labor day each year.
