Location, Location, Location: Enjoy the proximity to Asheville's attractions, with the Blue Ridge Parkway a mere 14-minute WALK away, downtown Asheville 5 minutes by car, and the Biltmore Estate 10 minutes away. Must visit Grove Park Inn, for breakfast or sunsets, and the River Arts District, all within a few min drive. You will pass a large Ingles supermarket, gas station, and Starbucks at the base of the mountain every time you drive down or up. The journey to our mansion is a visual delight, passing through untouched forests and elegant estates, leading to a private driveway at the mountain's summit, where stunning views await. Situated in a prestigious 7-figure residential area, this property offers a serene environment, close to all the action. It’s an absolute delight walking your dogs or going on a hike through the neighborhood. There is a famous trail within a few min hike, across the Blue Ridge Parkway, called the MST, or Mountains-To-Sea Trail, a 1175-mile-long trail from the Smokey Mountains to the sandy beaches on the Outer Banks in the East. We have done parts of the trail, drop-a-pin on the phone, Uber back to the house, and on the next walk, park at the dropped pin, then continue on the trail, and Uber back to the car, etc it's a truly amazing experience right at your doorstep. The ever-changing views from the house overlooking Pisgah Forest are stunning. The beauty of this location cannot be captured in photos; it must be experienced firsthand. The current photography was done in the middle of winter, and does not capture at all the beauty in spring, summer or especially fall. Ample parking is available, but we limit parking to five cars. No parking on the street is allowed. Please note the description below is easily seen on the 3D floor plans uploaded into the pictures (at the end). Downstairs: Large game room with massive picture windows and all glass fully opening rolling doors. The game room has a pool table, foosball table, air hockey, darts, cornhole, ring toss, poker table, three arcade games, 75 inch TV hooked up to an Xbox with many games including racing games incl steering wheel, and various board games. There is also a laundry room with double washers and dryers that are free to use, and a full spa experience with a two-tiered 8-person sauna with incredible views, a steam room and an outdoor cold plunge. To round off the full spa experience there is an infinity pool, hot-tub and there are two more indoor jacuzzis on the property. On this lower floor are also two bedrooms and one bathroom with a total of 3 queen beds. The steam room also offers a shower, but no toilet. See the bedroom arrangement below. The main floor: A haven of comfort and style, with a south-facing double-high family room bathed in natural light, high-end furniture, and a view room with miles of views to the east to south for your relaxation, with lounge chairs and breakfast table. Binoculars are included! Exit outside through the family room to enter the sun-flooded south-facing side of the wrap-around deck with ample seating on the large lounge couch with an oversized sun-umbrella. On the north side of the house we find the fully equipped chef's kitchen, with an adjacent spacious 10 and up to 16-person dining room with views of the northeast mountains. Perfect for entertainment and memorable gatherings. The dining room and kitchen opens up to the front and back porch with big French doors, to bring the outside in. On the west side backyard side, we find the wrap-around decks with BBQ grill, views, and privacy ample seating for large grounds, and the large, private fully fenced backyard, which offers incredible usable space for outdoor activities. On the north side of the house, we find a brand new 10x20 heated pool (call us to activate) overlooking the mountains. On the main floor, we have the primary bedroom and one more bedroom with a bathroom and separate toilet. See the bedroom arrangement below. Quirky fun thing: the primary bedroom has a TV on a roller. Feel free to move it around as your please, even outdoors! Upstairs: Three additional bedrooms, each offering unique views and comfort, with 1 queen and 2 king beds. The capacity ensures a maximum capacity of 16 guests on 8 separate beds. Bedroom arrangement: We prioritize our guest's comfort, to ensure a restful night's sleep. Our bedrooms feature high-quality mattresses, blending medium and firm memory foam with cooling gel and medium hybrid gel/boxspring options. Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with two queen-size beds, with medium hybrid normal mattresses. It has an en-suite bathroom, and it’s located downstairs. Bedroom 2: Also downstairs is this bedroom with a queen-sized bed with medium-firm hybrid matras. The bathroom is accessible through the game room and shared with the other bedroom in the downstairs. Please note users must lock both entry doors to the bathroom when in use. Bedroom 3: Located on the main level, queen-size bed with a medium firm memory foam mattress with cooling gel. Private bathroom with vanity and shower available, however, must cross the hallway to enter. The toilet (half-bath) is separately accessible. Bedroom 4: Also on the main floor, the primary bedroom, a king-size bed with a comfy medium hybrid mattress, and an en-suite luxury bathroom with in-ground jacuzzi, triple shower, floor heating, double sink. The upper level contains the last three bedrooms, which share one bathroom with a jacuzzi tub/shower. The upstairs floor is all carpeted, so sorry, no pets or shoes are allowed up here. Notes: This house has no damage from the hurricane. ❄️ SEASONAL NOTES The pool is usually open end of April–October. Pool opens when day temperatures are consistently over 70F and closes when it starts freezing at night. We try to open early and close late, but the pool heater does not work when temperatures come close to freezing. Some furniture cushions / pool chairs are covered or stored for protection in winter. Other things to note We kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties and ensure only registered guests are present on the property. Please be mindful of noise levels, especially during nighttime hours. We hope you enjoy your stay responsibly and would like to remind you to adhere to the 25 mph speed limit when entering the subdivision. Dogs are welcome! However, we kindly request your help in managing shedding. If your dog sheds, please bring blankets for them to lie on. Excessive dog hair can be difficult to clean, and additional cleaning fees may apply if this becomes an issue. For everyone's comfort, dogs are not permitted on the bed coverings or in the upstairs carpeted areas. Freezing Temperatures Some outdoor areas are closed in winter. Outdoor furniture with cushions will be covered. The outdoor faucets, pool and cold plunge can not be used. The pool is open from May till October. We hope you will enjoy your stay!
