Peaceful studio apartment in a forested paradise

Secluded and private studio apartment in West Sedona just 2.3 miles from the main tourist area (Uptown Sedona). This cozy space has peak-a-boo Red Rock views from the space and backyard. Centrally located in the heart of West Sedona right next to Posse Grounds Park (walk/bike distance from the Sedona MTB Festival), a few shops and restaurants are walking distance, yet the area feels so peaceful and exactly what any person or couple needs for a relaxing and rejuvenating time away from home. The space The apartment is nicknamed “The Train Room” due to the original owner’s use of this space for his model trains. When we purchased the property we remodeled it into a studio apartment. The train room is approximately 350 square feet and includes a separate mini-split system with your own heat and AC controls. WiFi is included and an off-street gravel parking space is available for guest use. The cozy kitchen features an extra-large toaster oven, 2-burner cooktop and microwave. The living area and bedroom are combined with a king size bed with memory foam mattress. The couch is a futon and can be converted to a second bed upon request. Flooring consists of wood-look ceramic tile throughout. A small outdoor seating area faces north in our peaceful, completely forested, very large backyard (the lot is 0.8 acres). Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment that has it’s own entrance. Other things to note The apartment is on the ground floor, however, there are 4 steps from the driveway down to the paver pathway to the apartment. Parking: You may park in the cul-de-sac or in a gravel parking space to the right of our mailbox. Bike Storage: We can provide secure storage for mountain bikes during your stay. Laundry Facilities: The washer and dryer are in the garage which is normally locked. If you have a need to do laundry while you are here, please let us know and we will provide access. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided. There is also an ironing board next to the dryer and we can provide an iron if needed. This apartment is behind our garage and below our back deck. You may hear a garage door opening and vehicles entering and exiting the garage. We make every effort to not do this during sleeping hours. There is a ramp off our back deck and a path in the backyard that we use to walk our dog when we have a pet. This is so they don't have to navigate the staircase used to access our front door. Our property is not fenced and Sedona has an abundance of wildlife. You may see coyote, lynx, fox, deer, and javelina anywhere on the property. DO NOT APPROACH WILDLIFE… EVER!! Give them space and they will move on. Make sure any children are supervised at all times.
