Privately nestled among the trails that make up our community, Swept Away Chalet is set in a completely natural setting, surrounded by massive and mature trees. My favorite spot of the house is centrally located on the middle level, and is the Great Room. The Great Room offers an open-concept gathering space to maximize the amount of people that can congregate in one area. This flex-space includes the designer kitchen with L-shaped island with bar seating, custom 12-person long dining table, and living room area with soaring 20 foot cedar wrapped ceilings, stone fireplace (gas powered), and a MASSIVE genuine Swarovski crystal adorned 5 foot tall chandelier. The Great Room includes 2 sofas, a 2-chair sitting area, and a high top table for 2. This area also features a huge 65" Smart TV, the entrance to the outdoor deck, and large custom windows (flooding the area with natural light). You can gather the entire family in this area for holiday meals, get-togethers, or Sunday football. The room's large custom windows bathe the space in natural light, perfect for family meals, get-togethers, or watching the game. The first level of Swept Away Chalet offers a second living room area; perfect if you need some privacy or to play a movie for the kids. This level also features access to the hot tub. Third level offers the loft area that overlooks the Great Room, 2 more bedrooms, and a full bath. Each level of the home offers a full bath. The property has a very large wrap-around driveway and can accommodate up to 8 vehicles. Please note that Towamensing Trails requires parking passes for all vehicles included during your stay. We provide up to 6 passes at no cost. Additional passes can be purchased at $25/pass. The gourmet kitchen includes pots/pans, silverware, glasses, dishes, coffee cups, cooking utensils, blender, coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, etc. See guidebook for full list. Wristbands are required to access all amenities; including the lake, pool, beach, sports courts, and clubhouse. Your reservation includes up to 8 wristbands for free. After that, you are able to purchase up to an additional 8 wristbands directly from Towamensing Trails at $10/person/day.These amenities are available only in the summer. Our home is fully sanitized in between stays in accordance with CDC & Air BnB Guidelines to ensure your health and safety. Other things to note Working from home? Swept Away Chalet has you covered! 2 Bedrooms in our home include workstations with a comfortable desk and chair so you can privately work, in the event that you have to. Free Un-Limited High Speed WiFi Last speed test resulted in 247 Mbps for downloads and 12 Mbps for uploads Absolutely no smoking is permitted inside the home, however you can smoke anywhere outside and dispose of cigarette butts in the designated outdoor receptacles. We include one set of bed sheets, pillow cases, and comforters for all beds. Additionally, the home comes stocked with bath towels and wash cloths. There is a washer and dryer on the premises for you to launder these towels/linens if you wish. All of the Smart TVs in the home are ready for your own personal streaming accounts such as Hulu, NetFlix, etc. We do not provide streaming accounts or cable. We utilize a "Smart Check-In" process that gives you the ability to check yourself in upon arrival with our electronic key system. We do not perform "in-person" check-ins. We try to make everything, from start to finish, as hassle-free as possible for you! Your furry friends may be permitted for an additional fee. Please contact host for more details. Only hypo-allergenic dogs are permitted inside our home. This means that we only permit dogs that do not shed. Please inquire for more details and exact pricing. Due to the size of this home, we require a minimum of 6 guests to book. Certain dates and holidays have a minimum night stay. Please note that certain dates and holidays have minimums. Contact host for additional details. Final nightly rate is calculated based on your guest count. The outdoor grill is available for use from April 15 - November 1st. The grill will not be available for use outside this time frame to protect from the winter weather. Must be at least 24 years of age to book a reservation. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the hot tub. After booking is confirmed, you will be required to fill out a form from Towamensing Trails asking for your license plate numbers. Due to local noise ordinances, Swept Away Chalet has 24 hour noise monitoring devices both inside and outside. Please note that this software is NOT a recording device and does not record sound or audio. It simply measures decibel levels both inside and outside. The base nightly rate includes up to 6 guests. After that, the price increases by $50 per person per night. AirBnB calculates this on its own as long as you enter in your guest count correctly. If you end up with more than the amount of guests that you booked for, you will be charged $50 per person per night, for the nights that you booked.
