Both bedrooms will be on your right. The master, with a private bath, has a king bed; the rear bedroom has a queen bed. The rustic modern decor creates an atmosphere suitable for romance and families alike. The cabin features water and foothill views, an open floor plan, 9' ceilings, a fireplace, a fire pit, a well-stocked kitchen. One king bedroom + one queen bedroom + two baths. The king bedroom and the family room are both equipped with Smart TVs. You will need to supply your own streaming service, but we supply high-speed Internet that will support it. ★★Please note that this property does not have an accessible back yard (the climb is too steep). Also, soon, an area will be graded and a retaining wall installed for the fire pit. For now, it is on a slope or should be used in the gravel driveway (which also has a slight slope). There will still be room for two vehicles if you opt to use it on the driveway. This message will be removed once the area has been graded and the retaining wall has been installed. ★★Outdoor areas: Small front sitting area, large rear deck with hot tub, and fire pit + chairs by the water. ★★Setting: Our cabin is situated with a view of the foothills in back as well as a partial view of the neighboring lake. We are close enough you could walk to Shenandoah Outfitters and the River, and we are about 8 minutes from Bixler’s Ferry boat launch if you bring your own kayak or canoe! ★★We are located in a wooded neighborhood with unpaved roads (about 1/4 mile off of paved roads). 4WD recommended in winter, but may not be required. ★★Smart Home: You will check-in with a smart lock using a provided keypad combination. The property is equipped with a Nest thermostat and a security system (used only when the property is vacant between guests). ★★Only suitable for small groups seeking a peaceful getaway: WE HAVE NEIGHBORS, SO THIS CABIN IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PARTIES OR GROUPS SEEKING ANYTHING OTHER THAN A GROUP SEEKING A QUIET GETAWAY. ★★Pets: With a $75 pet fee per stay, up to two well-behaved dogs under 75 lbs. are permitted at this cabin. Please note, however, that this cabin has white pillows, bedding and white color in the rugs, so please wipe paws and ensure that your pup is fully house trained. Sorry, but CATS ARE NOT PERMITTED. ★★Smoking inside the cabin is strictly prohibited and subject to a $500 fine. ★★You'll have access to the entire cabin and property. ★★IMPORTANT: Please note that this property DOES NOT HAVE WATER ACCESS (BUT IT DOES HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VIEW), so you'll need to go to the Shenandoah River (2-8 minutes) or Lake Arrowhead (30 minutes) for fishing. There is no access to the lake from the rear of the property, but we are located very close to the shore. Fishing and swimming are prohibited. There is no rear access to the water (you must go out the front door), but guests with children stay at their own risk. We will not be available at check-in or to meet in person, but we have a local property caretaker who will be available if you need anything! This cabin is located in a rural neighborhood with other cabins/houses. Walking distance (though not on smooth pavement) to Shenandoah River Outfitters. Located in a rural neighborhood with an unpaved road, the property is about 2 minutes from the Shenandoah River Outfitters, 8 minutes from the Bixler's Ferry Boat ramp to the Shenandoah River, 20 minutes to Luray Caverns and the Luray Walmart, and 30 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. People visiting Page County from a distance should know that the region has wonderful activities, scenery, wineries and more, but it is a rural area comprised of small towns. This property is quiet and secluded, though within 30 minutes of most of the attractions in the Shenandoah region! Also, Uber and Lyft are not available in Page County. ★★ Outdoor grill is electric. ★★Cell service in the area is very limited, but you may connect via WiFi at the cabin. We use wireless over wifi, and it is a good speed and is reliable. Please note that streaming can experience (very) occasional buffering though. The Internet at our cabin is faster than most of those around us (they use satellite). ★★Small children may be added to the reservation and use a foldable mattress (kept in the master closet) or the sofa. ★★IMPORTANT: This is a new construction in a wooded area. Grass is not yet established, and we may not be able to mow as frequently during planting. Please be prepared to encounter some weeds, tall grass, and/or dirt if you book while we are establishing a lawn.
