Andean House Workshop

We are Milagros, a weaver and textile researcher, and Alejandro, a bookseller and editor, and Amanda, our daughter, and Andina is our house, workshop and small farm with a vegetable garden and chicken coop. We rent on summer vacation or when we travel in the year. Every corner is designed for life, parenting, work and enjoyment. We are inside Juella, a very quiet village, ancient pre-Columbian enclave, in a rural setting located 8km from Tilcara. We have laying hens and Ramona, our cat. The space The house overlooks Cerro Amarillo and Quebrada de Humahuaca. The garden has peach trees, apple trees, vines, a lemon tree, and a vegetable garden for guests to care for and consume. The house is made of adobe, cool during the day, warm at night. Our books, records, and textiles are available. Nestled in the middle of a farming village, we seek and promote total respect for the environment and its inhabitants.
