Happy Holiday Home! Pet-Friendly, Walk to Beach!

From the moment you walk in, you will feel a lightness. The space is designed with relaxation and comfort in mind and all you have to do is enjoy it! Happy Holiday Home is located within walking distance to the beach, Publix grocery store, a 3-minute ride to the Avalon Fishing Pier, and local restaurants! The upstairs deck and the downstairs area allow you to relax with your company while the grill provides an opportunity to cook! Make yourself at home! The space This open floor plan allows plenty of sunlight to make the space plenty bright. The kitchen is fully stocked for you to cook if you desire and also to leave the dish washing to the machine, since this is your vacation! The fridge is full-size with a freezer up top and fridge on the bottom. All the plates, silverware and cups are provided as well. The bedrooms have one queen bed in each of the two bedrooms and the third room has one queen bed and one bunk bed with a twin mattress on the top bunk and another twin on the bottom. The outdoor shower keeps the sand outside and provides the opportunity to bathe outside when the temperatures are warmer. The room under the house has a tv, couch and several chairs for an extra and separate space to lounge without disturbing or being disturbed by the main house above it. Just outside that room is an outdoor area that has additional seating and another full-size fridge with freezer for any overflow of your foods that require refrigeration or to be kept frozen. The backyard has an area that is completely fenced in for your dog if you bring him/ her along. Please pick up after your dog and dispose of the bagged waste in the garbage can outside. Other things to note Dogs are allowed here! I charge $55 per dog to include them in the fun. Please pick up after them and make sure they are gentle on the place and kind to the furniture. Crates are available if you leave the house and the dog(s) are not safe to be left alone uncrated and you do not want to travel with a crate. A medium and large one are available for you to use. Cats are not allowed in my home. Parking is free in front of the house. The concrete parking pad will accommodate four cars. **From the city of Kill Devil Hills regarding dogs on their beaches: "Dogs are welcome at Kill Devil Hills Beach during the off-season throughout the day. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day of each year, no dogs are allowed on the public beach between the hours of 9am and 6pm. Dogs must be under control of the owner and handler if they are on the beach and must always be on a leash."
