Blackwater Eco Pods 1

Our Eco Pods are the perfect accommodation option for nature lovers, those looking for a quite and peaceful retreat or as a base from which to explore the region. Each pod can accommodate 4 adults or a family of 5 and contain a private kitchenette, shower and toilet. The pods also have a shared outdoor picnic area. We are a community established group that also offers river activities and walking trails in the Blackwater River Valley. Find out more at blackwaterecotours.ie. The space The River Blackwater is designated a ‘Special Area of Conservation’ and is home to many species of birds including Kingfishers, Peregrine Falcons, Egrits and Herons, as well as other species including otters. Through conservation, community and education our aim is to promote environmental awareness and sustainability in this stunning hideaway of West Waterford.
