Description
Welcome to our family farm! Chesumot, a 600-hectare tea plantation in Kericho, offers a welcoming and well-maintained guest house, with three bedrooms in the heart of the estate. It includes two bathrooms (one ensuite), a fitted kitchen, dining area and living room. The house is comfortable and ideal for a peaceful stay. The kitchen and housekeeping staff are at your service. Enjoy superb views and the tranquility of our beautiful region. Karibu Sana! The space The Chesumot farm covers 600 hectares of green hills, where different varieties of tea are grown, including green tea and purple tea: the latter being particularly popular in Japan. Much of the estate is covered with purple tea bushes. As you walk through the tea fields, you'll discover two arboretums as well as eucalyptus plantations that line the ridges of the hills surrounding our camp. There's plenty to do on the farm, beyond swimming in the dam. Stroll peacefully along the paths through the fields, enjoy panoramic views of the estate and the hills of Nandi, or watch the pickers maneuvering their machines to harvest tea. For the more curious, explore the estate on horseback, observe the birds near the water, or discover our neighbor, the Kaisugu Tea Factory (organized separately). Other things to note Tea plantation tours are only organized on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and are not offered on public holidays. Please note that visits to the Kaisugu Tea Factory must be arranged directly with them, as we do not support the coordination of factory visits.
