The space This colorful artist retreat has been designed to feel comfortable, creative, and welcoming, a true home away from home. • Large living room and workspace • One bedroom with a queen bed and futon • Kitchen and dining area • Bathroom • Laundry room with washer and dryer The space features original artwork from both local artists, including my own work, and pieces collected from travels around the world. The backyard includes lounge chairs and a fire pit for relaxing evenings. Our chickens live quietly in their coop and often lay fresh eggs that guests are welcome to enjoy. For longer stays, we may occasionally need brief backyard access to feed the chickens. Hosts live nearby and are available if anything is needed, while guests enjoy a fully private space. Guest access Guests have full access to the guesthouse and its designated backyard area. The yard is separated from the main house by a tall picket fence, giving guests their own outdoor space to relax and enjoy. You’re welcome to use the picnic table, backyard seating, and fire pit area. The fire pit and chicken coop are located further back in the yard, providing additional privacy. Our chickens live quietly in their coop and often lay fresh eggs that guests are welcome to enjoy when available. There is also a small kids play area with a slide in the yard. The main house and its yard are separate and private. Other things to note Important Information Before Booking This guesthouse is located in the heart of Northside, one of Fort Worth’s historic and culturally vibrant neighborhoods. The area reflects the diversity and energy of the community, authentic, lived in, and evolving. Guests who appreciate real neighborhoods and local culture tend to feel most at home here. This guesthouse is part of an older Northside property and the plumbing reflects that. Please do not flush toilet paper. A covered bathroom bin is provided. House Rules • Please use the designated on-site parking area rather than street parking. • Parties or gatherings are not permitted. • The bed and futon are the designated sleeping areas. • To help us keep the space in great condition for all guests, please avoid eating on the yellow sofa.
