A peaceful hideaway with beautiful forest, valley, and field views from the Rose Garden Room with queen bed. Large two-level raised deck that gets good sun amid rose bushes and garden. Private sliding glass door to the deck, fast reliable Starlink internet, desk w/ cubbies & a nice bathroom that is usually just shared with only one other person, or none. Walk to Elk River 300 ft away. Recently renovated house is 10 minutes from Eureka stores & restaurants & beach. For 1 or 2 people only. No Pets The space Parking is in front apple tree at front left of house. Enjoy views from the desk, sitting on the deck watching the birds and gazing at the beautiful view in front of you, or wander in the back yard and sit on the meditation bench in the middle. NOTE: Washer & Dryer are available by request and for guests staying one whole week or longer :) Guest access Bathroom with large shower is to the right across the hall of your room's door. Two-level deck just outside bedroom has two chairs and a side table. Meditation garden behind house has and ancient redwood bench bench. Deck on the back of the house has a round table with four chairs, and a propane barbecue grill for your use. Field and riverfront along Elk River. The forest behind the house is Private with no access allowed, but Headwaters Forest Reserve is just a 5 minute drive further south on Elk River Ed. Headwaters Forest Reserve is rare among redwood parks in that bicycles are allowed on the main trail for most of its length, as are dogs. Closest beaches (about 10 minutes away) are on a nice cove at King Salmon, and a tiny one is at the mouth of the Elk River near Hilfiker Ln. Sequoia Park and the Eureka Zoo with the Redwood Sky Walkw are about 15 minutes away. During your stay Nancy, the host/owner, will be available throughout your stay either in person in the house or by voice call. Her son, Shaun, who manages the property and is easily reachable by Airbnb messaging, was a Photojournalist and Photo Editor for the local newspaper for nearly 25 years and is available as a resource about the community and whats espcially worth seeing and experiencing. Other things to note NOTE: 1. This is a quiet, secluded small country neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly but IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU DRIVE 10 MPH OR SLOWER ON THE SHORT GRAVEL ROAD to avoid getting dust on neighbor's nice gardens or inside their houses. 2. NO PARTIES LOUD GUESTS OR MUSIC, TV, etc.
