Our beautiful 1890's historical cottage has been renovated to maintain much of its original character. It has been designed to provide higher end finishes and staged with the charm of Newport. It is located in the middle of downtown Newport with a private driveway, yard & AC! The home provides wonderful amenities in an amazing location. Guests can walk everywhere from Thames St, Bellevue Ave, Mansions, Cliff Walk, & 1st Beach. This is the perfect place to enjoy all that Newport has to offer. The space The entire single-family home, driveway and fenced in yard is all yours to enjoy. The first floor open floor plan provides a double-sided gas fireplace with a dining & living area, fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with tub. The second floor has two bedrooms, a wash sink, and washer & dryer. The private outdoor patio is fenced in and provides plenty of seating, as well as a small grass area. The house is fully stocked with all that you will need during your stay. All linens, pillows, toiletries, cleaning products, beach towels, beach chairs, & umbrella. The home has central heating and cooling. During your stay enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine from our wine locker next door at Jo’s American Bistro. This is designated for our guests at the Newport Tree House and must be consumed at the restaurant. Walk to all of your favorite restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping in downtown. There is a coffee shop, yoga studio, grocery store, and The Tennis Hall of Fame a block away. The famed Newport Mansions are around the corner on Bellevue Ave. The beautiful Cliff Walk is a 1/2 mile directly up the street and Easton's First Beach is just a stone’s throw from the entrance of The Cliff Walk. Guest access The entire house is yours complete with a private driveway on property for parking up to 4 cars, patio, fenced-in back yard, and small grass area. Other things to note There is a queen size pull-out murphy bed chest on the first floor. The second bedroom is on the smaller side and has a high-quality trundle bed with a memory foam mattress that pulls out from underneath. The mattress can stay low or come up to the height of the trundle bed. Airbnb does not allow us to choose a trundle bed with a pull out underneath. We therefore chose the “double bed” option.
