Description
Have you ever slept in a barn loft? In Switzerland, "schlaf im stroh", or "sleep in straw" is a fun tradition offered to guests. With a Swiss feel, this memorable barn offers beautiful sunset views of the rural Tooele Valley, and the Great Salt Lake. We are located 25 minutes from the Salt Lake International airport, and 5 more to downtown Salt Lake City. Our charming barn is very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. The space The barn is located on our 1 acre hobby farm, we have goats, chickens, rabbits, cats and a dog. Although there are no animals living in the bottom of the barn, you might hear the rooster when you wake up and are welcome to make an omelette with fresh eggs for breakfast. We love to garden, and are usually working on a project or two. Guest access You will enter from the front of our property, drive carefully past the house, and park in the B&B parking spot near the barn. On the farm, the open space behind the barn is for your use when you're our guest. We live in a cul-de-sac at the end of a neighborhood lane, and you are welcome to take a stroll around if you desire. Other things to note The barn has a conservative water heater, a typical shower is 10-15 minutes of hot water and a 15 minute reheat between showers. The barn is located just over 100 feet behind our house, at the end of neighborhood. We live in the country, unfortunately, there's always the chance of flies, mosquitoes, and other bugs at times. We do provide bug spray for your use.
