Nestled in a private plum orchard on a 50 acre organic farm with unspoilt views , ‘Plum Orchard Cabin’ is the perfect relaxing retreat for singles and couples. With views across lush green fields, guests can enjoy the stunning sunrise and sunsets, whilst soaking in the Scandinavian style wood fired hot tub. Located in a conservation village in the Scottish Borders and within (40min) walking distance of shops and pubs, guests can experience the best of both worlds - village life and farm life. The space The cabin itself boasts thoughtful design both outside and in. The sheltered decking outside allows guests to take in the gorgeous views and fresh air while relaxing in the egg chair or outdoor sofa or gaze at the stars from the wood fired hot tub*. Inside, the studio space is airy and light. The powerful shower in the luxurious bathroom hits the spot after a day of exploring the farm and coast, while the comfy king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton linen, offers a peaceful night's sleep. The cabin is as practical as it is stylish, with cosy underfloor heating throughout, a well-equipped kitchen, Wifi and smart TV with Netflix to make guests feel right at home. Guests can enjoy a range of books and board games. And on those chillier evenings, a huddle around the interior wood burning stove will keep you nice and toasty. Located on a 50-acre organic farm, guests are free to wander around the farm and meet the pigs, piglets, sheep, lambs, geese, hens, angora goats and our resident barn owl. At dawn and dusk, guests will often see deer on the adjacent fields. Guests can also take advantage of purchasing organic produce from the farm. The breakfast Hampers and BBQ meat are very popular and guests can cook this on the private BBQ provided. Wood for the log burner, hot tub and BBQ is provided from our organic farm woodland and dried thoroughly before use. Alexa also teaches private Yoga sessions to guests with classes taking place in your own yoga studio and classes tailored to suit your requirements and all mats and props provided. *Please note the Scandinavian style wood fired hot tub is not hot all the time. You have to light the fire in the integrated wood burning stove (logs provided) which heats the water up (heat time approx 3-4 hours from cold depending on outside temperatue).
