RAIZ - an inspiring haven, with nature all around!

Just 5 minutes from fabulous river beaches, 35 kms from Serra da Estrela and 75 kms from Coimbra, in a small village in Serra do Açor, lies RAIZ, a 1907 house waiting for you to enjoy lovely views and a magnificent sunset from the terrace. Spacious and cosy, AC, a wood burning stove, and a garage with direct access to the house where you will find several bicycles to set off and explore the surroundings. Enjoy quality time with your family with plenty of games and toys. It's our pleasure too! The space House composed by 3 floors, being the ground floor composed by hall and bedroom with private complete WC, the first floor by living room, kitchen, laundry room, service WC and direct access to the garage, and second floor with 2 bedrooms, complete WC and access to the terrace. Living room with dining table, sofa, reading material and many games and toys, which provide maximum comfort, fun and coziness while being embraced by the warmth of the salamander fire. Air Conditioning in all bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Large sunny terrace with great views, magnificent sunsets and stargazing, with dining table and another table to relax. WI-FI inside and on the terrace. Walk down a few steps from the terrace and enjoy the backyard, with several fruit trees and swings. In the garage you will find several bicycles and set off to discover the various paths and marked trails around Anceriz. Or, simply, walk. If you're an early riser, let yourself be woken up by the chimes of a flock of sheep which, fortunately, still insists on passing at dawn. But if you still feel like staying a little longer wrapped in your sheets, you'll hardly stay in bed when you hear the baker's daily call, who will be delighted to present you with fresh bread. Anceriz is a small and quiet village, an ideal starting point for walks, hiking and biking, and river beaches only 5 minutes away. Only 10 minutes away from Côja or Avô (shops, restaurants, ATM, pharmacy). 1 hour from Coimbra, 2 hours from Oporto Airport and 2h30 from Lisbon Airport. Guided walks and workshops in wool needle felting are available (face book: raiosdesolarte), subject to availability and prior booking. Guest access After a trip, it is always good to be rested and relaxed, knowing that you can park your car in a spacious garage with automatic gate, which has direct access to the first floor of the house, being able to unload the luggage with all the comfort. The main entrance to the house is from the front, on the main street, where you can leave the key in a safe, for your comfort and security. Other things to note - No smoking inside the house. - Baby chair and cot are available free of charge upon request. If bed linen is requested, there is an extra charge of EUR 10 per stay. - Pets are accepted, in a total of 2. The guest will be responsible for hygiene inside and outside the space, the care of the furniture, and the movement of animals in the yard must be accompanied and properly tied, for the very safety of animals. Only 2 containers for water and food will be provided. - House not suitable for people with reduced mobility, due to the existence of 2 flights of stairs, smaller children must be supervised during their use, as well as when using the stove. - At check-in, all guests must show their identification document and, in case of foreign citizens, they must fill in the SEF (Foreigners and Borders Service) Accommodation Bulletin - available at the house -, according to the current legislation.
