This historic building was built in 1892 and has kept a lot of its original charm but now has been transformed into a gorgeous newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath spacious home. The backyard overlooking the north branch of the Dead River leads you directly to Flagstaff Lake for ample outdoor recreation. Walking distance to our local grocery store, restaurants and shops. Spacious dining/living room, open kitchen with full amenities to make this the perfect getaway for your group! The space Bigelow Alpine Lodge can accommodate up to 8 guest comfortably with lots of common areas for everyone to gather and enjoy this newly remodeled home with a stylish modern flare. Only 8 miles to Sugarloaf Mountain for skiing, golfing, biking and more! The main floor presents an open concept living area, spacious kitchen with marble island, dining room table with comfortable chairs seating 8 guests total. The amount of natural light that beams in gives you views of the river, our backyard, and of course downtown Stratton. The updated kitchen features a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, dual coffee maker (classic drip and Keurig) and all the essential spices and cooking tools you need. The living room is furnished with two couches, along with two single rotating round chairs, Smart TV (with access to Netflix, Hulu, etc) . Also located on the first floor is our half bathroom and large dining room and table. Once you head upstairs to the fully carpeted second floor you'll find all three bedrooms. The first bedroom to your right near our stackable washer & dryer, is a Queen sized bed with your own smart TV and dresser to store personal items. The second bedroom at the top of the stairs is our Master Suite. Large living space, king sized bed, Smart TV, and attached large bathroom with both a stand up shower and claw foot bathtub. The last bedroom is a kids room with two sets of twin bunkbeds across from one another as well as a small reading nook and Smart TV. The second full bathroom is also upstairs with a stand up shower and bath tub in one. The building is a shared building with year round residents on the opposite side of the building. Everyone is polite, and very respectful. Parking is specific for guest when staying at this home. We ask guest to park in the designated spot marked out for you. This space is deep enough for 2 trailers or 6 vehicles total. Other things to note House Rules: We ask that you leave the home as you found it, dishes should be washed and put away, furniture all in its place, check out instructions followed the morning of your departure, etc. No smoking or vaping (of any kind) in the house. We allow pets on a case by case basis; 1 dog for a one time $100 fee. We ask that you be mindful of your pets, we are happy to host them but please be respectful of the home and the property! Our Policy Includes: - Keeping them off furniture. - Not allowing them upstairs or in bedrooms, we provide a gate. - Do not leave them unattended for long periods of time, if left unattended we ask you bring a kennel. - We only allow well behaved dogs and would like you to tell us a little more about your furry friend before we accept your booking. We ask that you clean up their waste and dispose of it in the exterior garbage cans. We kindly ask you remove trash & returnables from the home the day of your departure and place in designated barrels (refer to house manual.) We understand accidents happen, if anything is broken during your stay, please notify your Host/Co-Host. No large gatherings or events without owner's written permission. Limit number of guests to those that have been accounted for in the rental.
