Welcome to "San José", our small but cozy rustic cabin in Santo Domingo Barrio Alto, just 5 minutes drive from San Agustín Etla. The space Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature at “San José,” our charming cabin located in the heart of Santo Domingo Barrio Alto. This cabin offers a haven of peace and serenity. Location: “San José” is perfectly situated, just a 5-minute drive from the San Agustín Etla Arts Center and only a 30-minute drive from Oaxaca City. The main entrance as well as the parking lot are shared with the main house, however the cabin has access to a private patio surrounded by pine trees giving a feeling of being in the woods. Oh and I forgot to mention that we have a playful dog named Odin. Cabin Features: The moment you enter “San José,” you will be greeted by the warm embrace of rustic design. The entire cabin is adorned with natural wood, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cabin is small (25 m2) but has everything you need to feel right at home. Imagine waking up to the soothing sound of birdsong and being surrounded by the lush greenery of pine trees. “San José” offers the perfect combination of comfort and seclusion, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and peace seekers. Amenities: The backyard features a terrace, hammock and a fire pit for you to enjoy evenings eating marshmallows or enjoying a glass of wine by the firelight. Despite its compact size, “San José” is equipped with modern amenities to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, such as a kitchen with electric stove, refrigerator, TV, hot water, etc. Nearby Attractions: - Etla Market and former convent located 10 minutes by car. - San Agustin Arts Center, Etla 5 minutes by car. - The traditional Muerteada of Santo Domingo and San Agustin Etla, takes place on November 1 and 2.
