The space The house (strictly non-smoking) was originally built in 1919 but was fully gutted and renovated within the last 10 years while keeping some original details like heart pine/hardwood flooring throughout. The entire 100 ton house was picked up and moved and the third floor loft level was added as well as the wrap around porch. The main level is an open floor plan with two wood burning Rumford fireplaces, den, living room, bathroom and large kitchen with center island. Up the center staircase you get to the second floor where there are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms (one hall bath and one master bath). There is another staircase to the third floor loft area with another full bath and pool table. The house can host a large family group and has been used by many families traveling to Arlington National Cemetery for memorial services. Guest access Access to the entire main level of the house and the two floors above as well as the full wrap around porch and patio and fire pit area. Access to the fire pit and patio are off the side porch through the double French doors off the kitchen and dining area. Other things to note Please note that the nightly pricing is based on a party of four guests. This is done to allow smaller groups to stay because smaller groups are the most prevalent among bookings on Airbnb. However, the house is very large and can easily accommodate up to ten guests with double occupancy per bedroom. To allow the flexibility to accommodate both smaller and larger groups there is an EXTRA GUEST CHARGE of $65 PER NIGHT for EACH GUEST STAYING OVER THE FIRST FOUR.
