This home has 5 private bedrooms and a specially appointed playroom with toys and books. Located just minutes from Prospect Park, and close to the F/G train to Manhattan. Excellent coffee, groceries & restaurants within walking distance. The space This home was painstakingly restored to its former architectural glory, but outfitted with an eclectic modern sense of design. Our aim was to create an atmosphere of calm relaxation as a counterpoint to the active nature of our city. You will find plants in many of the rooms and windows on all four sides of the home allows for ample sunlight. When you arrive, you'll step onto a newly constructed victorian front porch. The 1st floor has a large entryway with coat racks and a sitting bench. From the entry way you can proceed either left into the living room or straight head into the dining room and kitchen. There is a small powder room under the front stairs. Between the living room and dining room is the library/music room, which features two comfortable reading chairs and a piano. There is also a back stairwell that leads directly into the kitchen. There are three bedrooms on the 2nd floor -- one with a double bunk bed, one with two single beds, and the master bedroom which has a king size bed and an adjoining sitting room with a sofa and 60 inch flatscreen television. The 2nd floor bath features a shower and bathtub. The 3rd floor offers another bedroom with queen size bed, a laundry/playroom that is outfitted with lots of toys, games, and books for children, an office with a fold out double sofa bed, and additional bath. Guest access If you're staying in our home, it means the we are not. So you will have access to the entire house. However the rear garden and outdoor seating area is shared with the garden level apartment. During your stay We are always available for guests and able to assist with any issue. We are happy to meet with guests or allow them their privacy as they desire. Other things to note We kindly ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house. Also there are no pets or smoking permitted on the premises. Parties or loud social gatherings are not permitted and use of the outdoor patio is prohibited after 9pm to avoid potential noise complaints from our neighbors.
