This charming cabin is the perfect home base for families and groups of friends looking for a quiet and memorable getaway in the Great Smoky Mountains. Our cabin accommodates up to 8 guests, with 2 bedrooms, 5 beds, 2.5 bathrooms, a living room, outdoor space, kitchen and game room. **Downtown Gatlinburg - 2.5 miles **Ober Mountain - 2.5 miles **Aerial Tramway - 2.5 miles **Great Smoky Mountains National Park - 4 miles **Dollywood – 10 miles **Cades Cove – 4 miles **Knoxville Airport – 44 miles THE HOUSE OUTSIDE: Step outside onto the back patio and discover a delightful lounge area with a propane fire table, comfy couch and chairs, and the hot tub. Or take your morning coffee on the cozy front porch while you listen to the birds chirp and watch the sun rise. KITCHEN: This fully equipped kitchen comes with a large refrigerator & freezer, basic spices, new pots and pans, and complete with both a Keurig and regular coffee pot, allowing you to make memorable meals together. FAMILY ROOM: After a day of adventure, retreat to the family room for a movie night on the large TV, cozy up with some fuzzy blankets, take a snooze on the lounger or enjoy the wood burning fireplace. GAME ROOM: Shoot hoops on the Pop-a-shot, play 80’s arcade games, or everyone’s favorite board games or send the gamers to the bunk room and let them challenge each other on over 3,000 classic arcade games. BEDROOMS: Enjoy our new luxurious memory foam mattresses with fresh cotton linens, pillows and plenty of blankets, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Each room is equipped with a smart TV to connect to any of your favorite streaming apps. The Master Bedroom has private access to the bathroom and a king sized bed. The Bunk Room includes 2 twin over full bunk beds and a single and multi-player gaming console with access to over 3,000 games. Guests will have access to the entire cabin! The pool, tennis court, and club house are shared with other cabins throughout the Chalet Village community from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Access cards are included with the rental. As your dedicated property manager, I'll ensure seamless communication throughout your stay. The Chalet Village Neighborhood is close to countless opportunities and enjoyment at Ober Gatlinburg Mountain Ski Resort, Ripley’s Aquarium, Dollywood, Outlet Mall shopping, Splash Country, numerous restaurants and other attractions. Many recreational options are also available at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which lies adjacent to Chalet Village. Despite this cabin's close proximity to Gatlinburg (10 minutes to downtown), the community is nestled and secluded in the never-ending mass of forests for the ultimate in privacy and peacefulness. Three main sections make up Chalet Village, and these neighborhoods offer the best amenities including tennis courts, swimming pools and playgrounds. GPS Instructions should have no issues getting to the property! Access to this cabin is up a steep and windy hill. This cabin is accessible by most 2WD or 4WD vehicle (subject to snow & ice), however this cabin may not be for you if you do not enjoy mountain driving. As mentioned, the roads are windy, but once you have driven these roads a couple times, you will feel like a mountain driving pro! While snow is rare, our winter guests hope for it as it makes the mountains more beautiful. If you are trying to minimize driving on windy roads, we recommend arriving through downtown Gatlinburg and taking Ski Mountain Road. The driveway is located on the right side of Zurich Rd and drops down fairly quickly. Parking for up to 2 vehicles is located in front of the stairs to the cabin. ➔ As with most cabins in Chalet Village, Coco’s Mountain Chalet is located on a hillside and requires guests to navigate stairs to access the front door and deck area ➔ The Access to this cabin is up a STEEP hill. While it is accessible by any 2WD or 4WD vehicle (subject to snow & ice), this cabin may not be for you if you do not enjoy mountain driving. While snow is rare, our winter guests hope for it as it makes the mountains more beautiful ➔ No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of god/other things that are beyond our control ➔ The wood burning fireplace is available between October 1 and April 1 as with every cabin in the area. Firewood will need to be supplied by the guest ➔ Property has a front security camera for the safety of the cabin and each guest ➔ NO SMOKING INSIDE. There are locations available outside for smoking, please respect future guests - we will charge an additional $500 cleaning fee for smoking indoors ➔ A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, laundry detergent, dish detergent and toiletries will be provided ➔ Seasonal access (Memorial Day - Labor Day) to 3 clubhouses with pools, tennis courts, walking trails, and more ➔ Despite monthly pest control maintenance, you will likely see and hear critters and insects ➔ Bears are dangerous, if you see a bear please stay inside and do not try to feed them as they are wild animals ➔ Do not leave food, gum, chapstick, drinks, etc. inside of your vehicle and please keep all cars closed and locked. The bears in the area know how to open car doors and will climb inside your vehicle if left unlocked or with doors open Coco’s Mountain Chalet is conveniently located near some of the most adventurous places in the Gatlinburg area. Ober offers activities for all seasons. Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area is the perfect destination for skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and more in the winter. During the other seasons, enjoy tubing, water parks, the alpine slide and even a wildlife habitat surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. AERIAL TRAMWAY: 2.5 miles. Take a scenic ride on the Aerial Tramway to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Smokies and Gatlinburg, providing a thrilling way to appreciate the area's natural beauty. GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK ENTRANCE: 4 miles. The gateway to one of America's most visited national parks, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance in Gatlinburg welcomes visitors to explore its pristine forests, diverse wildlife, and scenic trails. MOONSHINE MOUNTAIN COASTER: 7 miles. Experience an exhilarating ride through the Smoky Mountains on the Moonshine Mountain Coaster, a thrilling mountain coaster that offers twists, turns, and stunning mountain views.
