Welcome to the Hutchinson Suite, named in honor of Capt. John Hutchinson, the original homeowner. This charming suite is bathed in natural light. It features a queen-size bed with luxurious high-thread linens, a private seating area, and a smart TV with streaming access. Enjoy a private bathroom and modern amenities like contactless/keyless entry, free high-speed internet, and A/C. Snacks and coffee are provided. Breakfast isn't included. Message us for restaurants and cafes we recommend. The space Named one of the Top 50 Coolest Houses in Minnesota, the Historic Hutch House is a stunning home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 1892 Queen Anne Victorian is a boutique inn located just 40 minutes south of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) and blocks from the downtown district of Faribault, which is considered the second most historic in the state only after the capital city. Guest access The Hutch features keyless entry by way of the formal front door entry. Before you climb the soaring grand staircase, feel free to enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks in the lobby. During the warmer months, you can also spend time on the expansive front porch. The guest suites are completely separate from the rest of the home, so you can come and go as you please. We'll be onsite if you need anything. During your stay We live onsite and will be available as needed. Other things to note Historic Hutch House does not operate as a bed and breakfast. We provide light snacks. Guests are encouraged to visit any number of local establishments serving great food. Guests can also order food in.
