Our home is a 1900’s historic beauty with modern updates (we love air conditioning ;). We're just blocks to the sandy beach, lighthouse, restaurants, and downtown Manistee. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and BBQ, including complimentary coffee & tea- that'll help you enjoy a pleasant meal after exploring this beautiful town we love, Historic Manistee. Guest access Nestled in a quiet, historic neighborhood in downtown Manistee off of Lake Michigan, you are likely to encounter friendly neighbors walking their dogs, kids playing down the road and you are blocks away from a park, restaurants, the Riverwalk, nearby hiking trails, the Man-Made lake, lighthouses, and the sandy beachat Lake Michigan. Also within a few miles are The Ramsdell Performing Art Center, well-maintained golf courses, the casino, and the beginning of the M-22, a scenic road taking you through the cute towns, farmland, and wineries of the northern lower peninsula. Driving up the coast of Lake Michigan makes a wonderful trip even better! Other things to note While we have made some updates, the house and community maintain their historic charm making it perfect for laid-back families or a group of friends who don’t mind a squeaky floorboard, are at-home in nature with the occasional deer in the yard (there to eat my hostas no doubt), and who are comfortable with historic imperfection.
