Welcome to my beautiful 1940's hidden gem home. I’ve put in a lot of love and labor to make our home a comfortable space for us and our guests. You will see a lot of our personal touches and items throughout our home. We hope you appreciate all it has to offer and take care of our space like you would your own. The space BEDROOMS Our home boasts 2 great sized bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and one with a SmartTV and a DVD player. You can watch your favorite streaming service with your own subscription. BATHROOM There is one bathroom that is equipped with built in Bluetooth speakers and a night light. Come take a relaxing hot shower listening to your favorite tunes under the amazing RAINFALL showerhead or take a soothing bath. KITCHEN Our kitchen is a chef’s dream with plenty of space on our quartz countertops. Please be cautious not to put hot things off the stove or oven on the countertops. We have a 4 burner stove, griddle, oven, broiler, and microwave for all your cooking needs. The fridge and freezer are large so feel free to stock up on all your favorite groceries. There are spices, cooking oil/spray, coffee, and some dry foods available. Please feel free to use what you need and add some of your favorites for us or future guests to try. The best part is the dishwasher! No need to wash dishes by hand or even rinse them. Just load it up and let the magic happen! We also have a beverage/alcohol cabinet in the dining room. We don't monitor the cabinet and instead use the honor system. If you take something, leave something else. We look to the Airbnb community to share. Please drink responsibly and please DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. OFFICE We have a dedicated office area with a beautiful glass desk and comfortable chair for your business needs or personal pleasure. There is a USB ergonomic keyboard, laptop stand, and some office supplies. Bring your own mouse! DINING ROOM The dining room has a bar height dining room table and chairs to accommodate 4, and we have 2 additional stools for kitchen bar dining. This area also doubles as our game and media area. Feel free to watch any of the movies, read the books/magazines, or play the games. Please don’t take anything home and be careful not to lose pieces! Don’t forget to scratch off on the map and leave us a note in our Airbnb journal if you’d like. We love to hear your stories. We'd also love to see your pictures; please feel free to tag us. You'll see the hashtag inside on the cork board. LIVING ROOM Our living room couch is sooo comfy. You can lounge and watch your favorite entertainment on our brand new SmartTV which supports your personal subscription to Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney+, HBO max, etc. LAUNDRY We know what it's like to travel and accidentally spill something on your favorite shirt or run out of clean clothes. You are welcome to do your laundry at our home. There are laundry supplies available for you to use. Just make sure you leave the washer door open after use to allow everything to dry before you close the door. We'd appreciate it if you grabbed a cleaning towel and wiped dry/clean the inside of the door/rubber seal. OUTSIDE We welcome you to sit outside on the private front porch and listen to all the beautiful sounds of nature from the creek at the end of our cul de sac and the park behind us. If you're a bird watcher, you'll love all the hummingbirds that come by to visit. Bring some binoculars and join our neighbors in getting a glimpse of our little ecosystem. I have spent many, many hours working on my succulent garden both in the front lawn of our home and in the shared outdoor space. Feel free to take pictures, and don't forget to tag us! PARKING We have a very long driveway where 2 cars can park which is reserved specifically for this listing. We ask that you please unload passengers at the head of the driveway and park close to the fence and furthest away from the garage so that you and other guests in the studio unit can safely walk up the driveway and access the backyard. We need to be able to swing open the garage door as well. Please don’t park past the hedges. ADDITIONAL GUESTS We can provide additional bedding to sleep 4 additional guests- 2 on the couch and 2 on an air mattress. Prior notice and host acceptance of this accommodation is required. It’s possible but keep in mind there’s only one bathroom. PETS I’m open to the idea of having your beloved pet stay with you in our home. We love pets and the unconditional love is so rewarding, but we also know pet ownership comes with its own set of challenges. $75 fee per pet with a refundable $300 deposit required before your stay. If no issues, you’ll be refunded by us within 48 hours of your stay. Please inquire before booking! Guest access You will have full private access to the entire 2 bedroom and 1 bath home and the front porch. The backyard seating area may be shared with other guests who may be visiting in a separate Airbnb unit on the property. Long term guests (6 days or more) may need to share access to the washer/dryer mainly for our cleaning crew. We try to avoid this as much as possible. Please inquire if you have any questions.
