Catch crabs or fish from your private pier, relax on the furnished deck, or explore Selby Bay with our complimentary canoe. Enjoy water views from the kitchen, dining, living room, and enclosed porch. Just 15 minutes from Annapolis & the Naval Academy, and 45 from DC—peaceful, clean, full of charm. Ideal for USNA families! Unplug, unwind, and make memories on the water—year-round relaxation & fun! The space Your waterfront cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath with a walk-in shower. One bedroom has a queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has a full size bed with full size pull-out trundle bed (you will need to move the end table into the closet to use this lower pull-out bed). You will enjoy water views from your fully equipped kitchen, living & dining area with a table that has 6 seats and can expand to 8 seats comfortably. Continue through to the enclosed porch to enjoy more water views from the comfort of your daybed (also has pull out single trundle bed below) or enjoy laughter with family & friends at the high top dining area. Stroll out to the charming navy blue painted deck and relax under the big tree & charming evening string lights with the tranquil water and sounds and sites of nature as your backdrop. Hang out on the private pier and go fishing or crabbing (please note: we have a license for the two crab pots, but in order to fish a license is required - quick & easy for you to obtain online via Maryland DNR website) or just enjoy watching our famous river otter and many local feathered friends such as heron, osprey, kingfisher, ducks and geese! 🌊 What Makes Edgewater, MD Special? Enjoy meals at the large dining table for 8, or relax on the enclosed porch with a cozy daybed, trundle bed, and high-top dining table for 4. Step outside to enjoy the backyard deck, patio with outdoor furniture, sturdy Adirondack chairs, and a propane grill. For water adventures, a complimentary canoe and life jackets are provided. Please note: Use of the pier, waterfront, swimming, and boating is at your own risk. Exercise caution near the water at all times. Other things to note 📌 All guests must be registered prior to arrival—no unregistered visitors or large parties are permitted. Free parking is available for 2 vehicles in the gravel driveway directly in front of the cottage. We kindly ask that you be respectful of our friends and neighbors by keeping noise levels low, especially during quiet hours.
