A lovely place to experience "Gemütlichkeit" (coziness) in a storybook Bavarian-style Village. Overlooking the fountain, you are centrally located on the Plaza. Should your plans include exploring the area, you're ideally located between Reading and Lancaster and just off a PA Turnpike interchange, even Hershey Park is a short drive away; we're an ideal spot as a base to tour the PA Dutch region while staying in "Kleine Bayern." (Little Bavaria) The space Our Gasthaus includes three bedrooms and 2 full baths, featuring a full bathroom in the MBR....fully equipped kitchen if you enjoy preparing your own meals, DR, LR with 55 inch flat screen TV and 100mbps internet...upstairs two bedrooms along with TV and a workstation if you're planning a "work-cation". But you may be tempted to skip the work and enjoy your surroundings! Guest access Our place features a one car garage, along with a public parking lot which is just a few steps away. Across the plaza is the Village Haus, a full service restaurant and bar, featuring most of your favorites with a German twist. The village is quite walkable, including strolling the pond (stocked with Koi) and a playground for the kids. NOTE: The main living area is on the second level, so you will need to negotiate stairs; second and third bedrooms are on third level. Other things to note If antiquing is your thing, an antique mall is across from the main Village entrance....in fact Adamstown is the Antiques capitol of the Lancaster/Berks county region. There are a number of shops in the Village, featuring unique gifts, a Lego store. Also, don't forget a visit to the Toy Museum, just a few doors down from our place.
