A great stopping place for enjoying all that the Saratoga, Lake George and beautiful Washington County areas offer. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, the views, the high ceilings, gas fireplace and the location. Enjoy grilling on the deck overlooking the Hudson River. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Bring your bikes and kayaks! This is a quiet country setting yet only a scenic 20 minute drive to either Saratoga Springs or Glens Falls. The space My place is a small horse farm, previously a small Thoroughbred breeding operation but now a residence for a few semi- retired thoroughbreds, chickens and cats. We are yards away from the Hudson shore and on a major migratory flyway, great for bird watching and photography. Guest access The studio is self contained with private entry. Guest space consists of the main room with a kitchen/bar area, living and sleeping areas and a full bathroom. The door to the left of the bathroom leads to the host's residence and is not accessible to guests. There is a large deck overlooking the river with a gas grill and picnic table available for your use. Other things to note The entrances and main living spaces are step free and accessible, however the kitchen area is narrow and not accessible for a person using a walker or wheelchair. With advance notice it is possible to rearrange things so that the coffee maker, microwave, toaster etc are set up in an accessible place. The refrigerator is accessible as it is located outside the galley kitchen. Please note that there are security cameras mounted on the barn that monitor the driveway and horse stalls in the North end.
