A single-story farmhouse renovated for tourism; it preserves the original charm of a traditional Sintra family farmhouse. Surrounded by nature, it features a spacious garden and a mini forest, offering complete privacy. Ideally located near all that Sintra and the surrounding region have to offer, it is perfect for families seeking proximity to attractions and amenities, and groups of friends who want to enjoy a wonderful vacation together. The space The house has a fully equipped kitchen with easy access from both the main entrance and the dining area, which flows into the cozy living room (with air conditioning) and looks out onto the beautiful garden. The house has three bedrooms, but the number of bedrooms available will depend on the size of your reservation. Each bedroom has its own private entrance, a queen-size bed, a private bathroom, a dressing corridor, and air conditioning for your comfort. For 5-7 Guests: All three bedrooms will be available for your stay. For 3-4 Guests: Two bedrooms will be available. The third bedroom will be closed off. * Please see the note below. Please contact us before booking for pricing information. Guest access The supermarket is just a short walk from the house, right along the same sidewalk, so there’s no need to cross the street. It’s open every day from 8 AM to 9 PM, and if you head there in the morning, you’ll find fresh pastries waiting. Getting around is easy whether you're driving, using Uber, or taking public transport. If you’re renting a car, you’ll find short drives convenient, and we offer free on-site parking. Our farmhouse sits at the foot of Sintra Mountain, where the roads are still wide and two-way. From here, it’s only about a 15-minute drive up to the main attractions at the top. Parking around Sintra's palaces can be tricky, so we recommend leaving your car here and taking an Uber. It’s just a few euros and will save you a lot of time. The roads on the mountain are one-way, so if you miss a turn, you’ll have to loop all the way back to the start—something we definitely don’t recommend! If you’re heading to Lisbon, you have a few options. If you’re driving, we can suggest good parking spots in the city. Uber is a great alternative—it’s safe, affordable, and easy to find. For public transport, there’s a bus stop just outside our gate where you can catch bus 1623 or 1629 to the Sintra train station in about 10 minutes. From there, you can take the train straight to Lisbon. Another option is to take an Uber to Cascais and catch a train from there, but keep in mind that the two train routes arrive in different parts of the city. A book with our personal recommendations is waiting for you in the house, and we’re always happy to share more ideas on great places to visit. If you’re planning to visit Cascais, the easiest way to get there is by Uber or car, and we can suggest convenient parking options in the center. For guests heading to Penha Longa Resort, it’s just a 5-minute drive away, easily reached by car or Uber. Our garden offers the perfect blend of peaceful greenery and easy access to urban life. It’s not isolated in the countryside but surrounded by both nature and lively local experiences. The farmhouse is fully gated and fenced, with an automatic gate for vehicles, making it easy to come and go. There’s plenty of parking space inside the property, so you’ll never have to worry about finding a spot. Other things to note We’re here for you throughout your stay, happy to answer any questions, help with anything you need, and share recommendations to make your visit even better. We hope you have a wonderful time. We love little ones and want to make sure they’re just as comfortable as you are. A travel crib is available and can be set up in one of our spacious rooms. For reservations of fewer than four guests, there’s a €25 per night fee per infant. For groups of four or more, infants stay free. We’re happy to welcome your furry friends.
