Experience a true Colorado getaway with this custom built A-frame, nestled on the Palmer Divide. You will feel secluded within the pines and views to die for. You might see wildlife walking by while enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the hot tub or cozied up in a blanket on the deck. First bottle of wine is on us! Hiking trails are just minutes drive from house. Welcome and Enjoy your stay! Welcome to Hillside Hideaway. A custom built A-frame with one bedroom, full bath and open loft living. All interior walls have sound proof insulation in them for your comfort. The loft has beautiful views both East and West overlooking the Palmer Divide and mountains of Pikes Peak National Forest. You will even find a reading chair to get lost in a book. The main living has a dining area and couch with pull out queen sleeper if needed. Turn on the gas fire place for some relaxation and ambiance while playing some board games that are provided. You can even use the counter top with bar stools as a place to work from or enjoy a conversation with others as food is prepared in our fully outfitted kitchen with kitchen-aid appliances and mostly every other amenity provided, even a crock pot for use. Out the back door you will find a gas grill and even a hammock to take a little nap in or read a book while enjoying the fresh Colorado air. The front deck has two areas to enjoy. A sofa and table on one side and two chairs on the other, perfect when enjoying breakfast or a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Sit there long enough and you will see our frequent visitors of white tail deer, turkeys and yes even your occasional black bear. There is also a 6 person hot tub for your enjoyment when relaxing after a day of sightseeing or hiking one of our many trails just minutes away. If you want to relax and enjoy a movie you can stream through your TV located in the bedroom. Please note a limited supply of toilet paper, paper towel, soap and shampoo are supplied to get you started. Make sure to relax and enjoy! Enjoy! Hillside Hideaway is fully yours to enjoy. There are no property lines, however we ask that you don’t wander past the back rock wall or black shed for trash. All homes in the area sit on 2.5-10 acres, so it’s easy to feel secluded. Hilltop Hideaway is located amongst other properties that sit on 2.5-10 acres of land. To your west is a sanctuary with hundreds of acres that are untouched. The area itself is beautiful to take walk in with beautiful views and secluded homes. Getting around the area is best with a vehicle as no public transportation is provided. Parking is slightly below the cabin and can very nicely fit two vehicles. Three can fit but you will have to park behind each other. Please note that the parking is slightly below the cabin around 150 feet and has stairs to climb when you arrive. Please see pictures for more details.
