Balancing classic and modern elements, Elio, Tano, and Tonino have been designed to offer our guests an authentic experience of Sicilian lifestyle from bygone eras without compromising on comfort. Scicli beckons you to slow down, savor life's simple pleasures, and uncover the hidden beauty of a city suspended in time. The space Welcome to Elio, the largest and most prestigious of our houses. Finely renovated by two young architects from London, Elio represents the perfect harmony between local tradition and modern style. With its 8 sleeping accommodations, it allows an exclusive and comfortable stay even for larger families. Each room has a dedicated full bathroom and convenient wardrobe areas to store your clothes. There are also spacious storage areas available to keep your luggage and bulkier items, as well as an internal laundry area. Of particular prestige are the ceilings reconstructed using the ancient technique of Sicilian canes and plaster, and the local pitchstone floors. The spacious living room, with its open kitchen and island, will allow you to relax while preparing dinners for your guests, enjoy a movie, or listen to music through the dedicated audio system. The outdoor terrace, the pride of the house, overlooks the garden and offers a wonderful view of both the city and the San Matteo Cathedral. The garden, equipped with a large stone barbecue, will allow you to relax during the hottest moments of the day, refresh yourself under the outdoor shower, soak up the sun, or extend your evenings sipping a glass of wine near the citrus trees, a symbol of this land. Guest access The houses are independent and remain entirely at the guests' disposal throughout their stay. The guest has access to all areas. Other things to note Our houses are located in the historic part of the city, just a stone's throw away from the main attractions, services, and culinary experiences of the area. Everything is within walking distance, but it's important to consider their elevated location, which involves an ascent or stairs to be climbed, both upon arrival and during your stay. But I assure you it's worth it; only by facing the uphill climb can you discover our unique retreat, where you'll be greeted by an unparalleled panoramic view, enjoy absolute tranquility, and have the convenience of being just steps away from the most iconic monuments in the area. You'll live an unforgettable experience in a place where natural beauty and historical heritage blend harmoniously. We do not have private parking; however, at the bottom of the descent leading to the entrance of the house, you can find Piazza Dandolo, where with a bit of luck, you can find free parking, or in the main squares, such as Piazza Italia or near the church of San Bartolomeo, which are about a 5-minute walk from the house.
