These are automatically included in our rates without additional charge, and guests are welcome to use them seasonally at their discretion As the lighting, power, and air-conditioning facilities are all fast-acting we do ask our guests to kindly switch them off when not actually in the room, to prevent waste and as an eco-friendly gesture which would be greatly appreciated We always accept normal wear and tear but loss of or damage to our property may result in an additional charge The house is heated by a wood-burning stove during the winter months A Kitchenette for the use of our guests is now available on the ground floor where snacks/meals can be quickly and easily prepared for consumption Additionally, all long-term guests are provided with their own personal refrigerator for the duration of their stay Extra pillows, cots for babies, alarm clocks and hairdryers are all available free upon request At additional charge, we offer limited early breakfasts, laundry services, taxi rides, and licensed visitor-guide tours Always available at a charge if you require them Laundry service packed lunches early breakfast taxi service Guide service Child cots are provided free of charge Other things to note How To Reach Us By Taxi Airport taxis are available at arrivals. A one way transfer to The Burrow costs around €13 for a maximum of three passengers. By Public transport The cheapest way to reach us is by public transport with tickets costing as little as €2.00 ((URL HIDDEN) (Directions are shown on the map above in pink) Take the bus X2 or X3 direction Paola. Stop in Paola. Change to bus 81 or 82 direction Tarxien and stop on the bus stop ‘Neolitici’. (‘Neolitici’ is on Triq Santa Marija) Proceed on foot in the direction of the bus. Remain on Triq Santa Marija. You will notice small alleys on your left. These are marked Sqaq Nr.1, 2, 3, 4 etc. The Burrow is in Sqaq Nr 4. By Private Car If you wish to be chauffeur-driven we can book this for you. A transfer from the airport to The Burrow costs €20 and a driver would be waiting for you at arrivals with your name on a board. This service can also be booked for early departures.
