The Vixen House

This cozy and comfortable home is located within the charming Town of Amherst in a quiet neighborhood very close to Sweet Briar College. It is only a short drive from Lynchburg yet is also convenient to other area attractions, such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Mt. Pleasant Scenic Area, Wintergreen Resort, and an assortment of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, including the Rt. 151 "Brew Ridge Trail." The space Our place has two bedrooms with lots of closet and drawer space, one bathroom, a nice sun porch with plenty of seating area, a well equipped kitchen, a full laundry area, and central heat and air conditioning. It can accommodate up to four adults comfortably. Baby equipment, including a bassinet and Pack 'n Play, is available as well. There is off street parking for up to two vehicles. We do not have cable or satellite service, but wireless internet and access to Hulu with a smart TV is provided. If you are staying with us during cookout weather, you may use the charcoal grill and picnic table located near the back of the house. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire home and yard and are welcome to use all kitchen, bath, and laundry essentials (or extras) that are provided. Other things to note Early check-in and late check-out: Usually, we need the hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. between stays to prepare for the next guests. Sometimes an early check-in, within reason, can be accommodated if we have been able to prepare the house ahead of time, but we cannot guarantee it in advance. To ensure availability for the next guests, we generally cannot permit late check-out. Refunds for cancellation: If you have to cancel your reservation, all refunds will be determined by Airbnb's "moderate" cancellation policy. Please read and be sure you understand it at booking time. If, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, you will need coverage of your accommodation fees beyond what this policy offers, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance. Changes to reservations: Dates can be added to an existing reservation at any time subject to availability and current nightly rates. However, we will not grant requests to remove dates from an existing reservation if the request is made within 5 days of the check in date, due to the diminished likelihood of rebooking those dates on such short notice.
