In town, the Théodore Deck Museum, the Dominicans of Upper Alsace, the town hall and the churches tell the story of a rich industrial and artistic past. Just above the rooftops, the hillsides and their four grand crus invite you to knock on the door of a winemaker. At the table, you can try tarte flambée, sauerkraut or pretzels in local restaurants. Hiking, running or cycling: The trails start almost at the end of the street, and farm inns await you on the ridges. In winter, the ski slopes are just a short drive away. Colmar and its half-timbered houses are half an hour away, and Mulhouse is even closer. In between, you can visit the villages of the Wine Route at your own pace.
