Hike miles of wooded trails. Follow the trail through the meadow to our private 50' waterfall. Bring your Mountain Bikes for miles of outdoor adventure on the Mountain Goat Trail. Hike miles of trails on the bluff or dropping 800 feet through the canyon along cascades and waterfalls to Sewanee Creek. The cabin has two beds that will sleep four (queen in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. A futon couch/bed is on the huge covered deck for sleeping outdoors on balmy nights. You are welcome to bring sleeping bags for more sleeping capacity. Floor mattresses provided. Located above a 3-acre meadow of our 45-acre homestead that shares a driveway across from my brother’s house. Orienting your stay to the back deck, you won’t know there is another soul in the world. We're rural. There is no local public transit. But we enjoy off-roading, hiking, bouldering, rock climbing and rappelling in our own pristine, rugged nature preserve.
