Facing South, this cottage will seduce those who like to live in the open air and want to enjoy the picnic table from breakfast to dinner all year round. The space Very easy to access, just 3 minutes away from the motorway exit and barely 1 hour from South Paris, we are ideally located just a few kms from the best climbing sites but also Fontainebleau and other charming villages such as Milly la Foret, Barbizon, Moret sur Loing and Nemours. The Grand Parquet Equestrian Stadium is also nearby! Cottage especially arranged and designed for travellers, you will find everything you need to have a good stay in the region of Fontainebleau: - A fully equipped modern kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher and silent fridge/freezer allow you to be comfortable and independent and feel at home. - On the ground floor, large living room with direct access to a large exotic wooden terrace via a large French window. A bedroom with 2 lean-to beds of 90 cm x 190cm and a shower room with large washbasin unit. - A mezzanine with skylight with 3 beds 90 cm x 190 cm - A recent construction which meets the latest thermal insulation standards and guarantees you well-being in all seasons. - Teleworking possible: excellent quality WiFi and RJ45 connection in Master bedroom. - You can also use the washing machine located in the wooden shelter behind the main building. - For your comfort, all sheets and towels are included in your accommodation costs and the beds are made for your arrival. - A charcoal barbecue with its utensils is at your disposal for beautiful outdoor grilling. - You also have several board games, a few toys for the youngest children and some great classic books and comics. Few in English as well! - The more athletic will appreciate the bicycle parking next to the car park. - Few bikes are at your disposal free of charge to go around the village or go to the nearest bakery in Ury. But also a padlocked wooden chest at the entrance of the cottage which gives you the possibility of storing some belongings and even a crash pad for climbers. Guest access The cottage is located on a large plot of over 20000 sqft which has long been a field where asparagus grew. Today shrubs and young trees have been planted: Lavender and rosemary, broom, pines trees, oak tree but also olive trees, walnut trees, plum trees, apple trees, fig trees, pear tree, and cherry trees which are already giving fruits :-). Go for a walk to the back of the property where a relaxation area has been installed and enjoy this green setting... Other things to note - The Rocky lodge is attached to the Woody Lodge, its twin brother. A connecting soundproof door connects them in their center. The door is blocked for individual reservations and can be opened when a group reserves the 2 lodges. - No parties, ceremonies, birthday or any receptions. - Property located 1 minute away from the mayor's residence and 2 minutes from the gendarmerie!
