Looking for a unique getaway, less than a 5-minute walk from downtown shops, restaurants, and trails? This adorable 100 sq. ft garden cottage is the perfect, backyard getaway for two. Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend getaway, on a trip with your favorite gal pal, or traveling solo, we hope you enjoy your stay with us. Located in a quiet, fenced-in backyard, with a charming attached patio and firepit area. * IMPORTANT: Bathroom and Kitchenette are separate (approx. 75 ft away)* The space - Garden Cottage - The garden cottage is about 100 sq. feet & has been renovated in spring 2021. -This is a 2 person stay- no more than 2 people-not suitable for children under 12. -No access to washer/dryer -The property is equipped with towels, bed linens, and everything you need for basic cooking. - Parking: street parking in front of the main house with access to the shed through the backyard gate. - Garden cottage is located in a large, fenced in backyard in downtown Fayetteville, WV. -A short 5-minute walk to downtown shops, coffeeshops and restaurants. Easy trail access for hiking/biking within a 15- minute walk to Town park. - Private entrance & keycode will be emailed to you 24-hours before check-in. - No television - Wifi access - One Bed: 1 Full with Memory Foam Mattress - Bed is protected with mattress cover. - Plugs with extra usb portal & charging cable -Garden cottage kitchenette has a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee, creamer & hot tea. -Garden cottage has Air Conditioning (portable air conditioner), and a small electric heater. Nights may become cool. The electric heater and extra blankets will knock off the chill, but it does not have central heat or air. -The garden cottage is in a rural location and surrounded by gardens so on occasion and despite our best efforts, a stray bug, or spider may wander inside. Shared Amenities - You will have access to the entire backyard as well as the fire pit & patio area and propane grill. Firewood is provided. - Dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and soap in shower- -Private entrance to the Basement Living area, Kitchenette for light cooking, and bathroom (approximately 75 ft. walk from garden cottage). - Basement Kitchenette has full-size refrigerator, microwave, crockpot, 2-burner hotplate, utensils, plates, & glasses with everything available for your use. - Please be mindful of other guests sharing the basement living space/bathroom. Remember to tidy up after yourself and take your personal belongings with you. -The primary renter of the cottage must be at least 25 years of age. ** IMPORTANT: The garden cottage sleep quarters does not have running water. You must walk approximately 75 feet outside, through the backyard, to the bathroom/kitchen area. It is a shared common space. * The property is shared with my other listing, Vintage Camper Glamping for 2 DT Fayetteville♥ NRG. The garden cottage and vintage camper are approximately 75 feet away from each other, not completely isolated, but far enough away from each other to experience the privacy you need. :). The two experiences share a common living area, kitchen, fire pit and bathroom. For parties of 4 the camper and garden cottage can be rented to comfortably host 2 sleeping in the garden cottage and 2 in the vintage camper for a unique New River Gorge experience. This space is located on our personal property and we love having guests. You have private entrance to the space. My two lovable golden retrievers and I use the backyard, please keep this in mind and keep all backyard gates closed. I am happy to be as involved as you would like during your stay. You can access the property quietly without any interaction, or I am happy to chat with you about the area/recommendations/things to do. This cozy is a place for travelers to explore, reset, reflect and create. We hope that you enjoy every moment of your comfortable stay. Relax with your morning coffee on the quiet patio and wind down with a tall glass of red wine by the fire pit, under the twinkling lights after a day of play in the beautiful New River Gorge. This house is located less than 5-minutes from downtown Fayetteville, close to everything. In this unbeatable area, you will be close to several all-season activities including hiking, biking, fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, zip-lining just to name a few. Nearby are also a variety of local restaurants and shopping. Summersville Lake is located a short 20-minute drive and is perfect for a fun-filled family day. In the winter months, take a short 45-minute drive to ski at Winterplace Resort. This house is also a short 25-minute drive to Wonderland Waterpark at Ace Adventure Resort.
