Beach is across from School Rd entrance. Walk to Waitangi Museum via Paihia village boutiques & cafes. Walk to the Ferry & explore historic Russell and the islands. EV Plug & Free parking YAY! The space I'm happily offering my home to digital nomads or travellers who want to truly feel like a local; who are looking for a easy longer term space with a lovely outlook and outdoor space, close to wonderful nature trails to explore or just look out onto. Paihia Loft has everything you need to kick back and relax. It's arty, colourful and full of quirky vintage charm. You may need to nurture the plants and peruse the book & magazine collection. In a complex of twenty+ 1970's apartments, Paihia Loft is top floor in a block of four units, with outstanding views across the valley, bush, birds and sky. With only a 7 minute walk you are in central Paihia village or at the beach! World class! The carpark is at the base of the steps - Note there are 15 steps up to the front entrance. You'll enjoy a sunny deck with an awning (canvas roll out deck shade) and more plants. Yay for Greenery! The modern kitchen has a gas cooktop, rangehood, electric oven, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer, plud there is an airfryer for perfect toast and all your other fast cooking. Feel free to bring the red outdoor table & chair set inside to eat or work at. This apartment is my home when I am not adventuring, so the pantry is stocked with all the basics and the drawers contain all the cookware to prepare gourmet meals. Please feel free to use pantry items for your cooking. *The living area has comfortable lounge furniture and a smart TeeVee. As autumn & winter seasons come along and the sun changes position across the western hills this apartment enjoys more and more afternoon sun inside, by late arvo the wall above the sofa is bathed in delicious golden sunlight. There's a stool at the end of the bench creating a wee spot by the windows to work on your laptop, thesis, art journal or the great novel you are writing comfortably. The bathroom is clean and modern with great shower pressure and more art & plants. The main bedroom is cosy with a Queen bed. This room is next to the front door and at the back of the building; away from the drive. It's really quiet and the blockout roll down blind ensures you can have a great sleep in. The snug, cosy second bedroom with the loft double bed is next to the living room. It's suitable for one person. Or to be used as a walk in wardrobe and to keep your luggage in. The loft bed has a lovely outlook to the deck and the view. Access to the loft bed is via the cubby stairs. The steps up are wide and stable but you do need to negotiate them carefully when getting up during the night. This bed has limited space for sitting up straight, if you are tall. If you have an Electric Vehicle and have your own charging cable; You can charge your car from the overnight plug setup next to the steps up to the front door. As this is a complimentary service ~ Please only charge from 7pm as its a reduced off peak rate then. There are some considerations to take into account before booking. *There is going to be some maintenance done on the exterior sometime between May - July. The deck is being upgraded. I can offer a further discount during this time, to be discussed when it happens as it may not affect your booking at all. * At the time of writing (09/03/25)the deck area is totally usable. *This is an old block with the top floor added on in the 1990's. Noise travels through the floors downwards but not up into Paihia Loft. I request that all shoes are taken off when you are inside to reduce noise and to please tread gently and be considerate. The downstairs neighbours are not there much, it's their holiday home. I will be in NZ during your stay so you are welcome to contact me any time as needed. There are 15 steps up to the front entrance door please ensure you can manage stairs before you book this space. Paihia Loft is located on the top driveway at a complex of 21 character units up a steep drive. Other things to note The boring stuff.... Please be aware that this is a shoes off stay. To be considerate to my downstairs neighbour and to really feel on holiday, relaxxxx, kick off your shoes at the door.
