Wake up to 360° views of mountains, in a wooden chalet set in a 1000 m² garden in absolute calm. At the gates of Les Écrins, Le Dévoluy and Valgaudemar, this is the perfect base camp for hiking, recharging your batteries and giving children a real vacation in the heart of nature. The space THE SPACE The chalet welcomes you in its entirety, all for yourself. Its large, elevated terrace opens onto a 360° panorama that you never get tired of, both at sunrise and sunset. And in the evening, when the village lights go out, the sky is fully revealed: far from any light pollution, the Milky Way appears above the mountains. One of those shows you don't forget. Inside, a large, warm living room with sofa, TV and desk area. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee machine, raclette, fondue machine and waffle maker, and the large dining room table brings everyone together for evening meals. The chalet sleeps six people: two cozy mezzanines with two double beds and a single bed, and a bedroom with two single beds, perfect for children. Bathroom with shower and towels provided. On the ground floor, a games room filled with traditional games and a small bedroom ideal for an afternoon nap. THE GARDEN 1000 m² of well-maintained lawn, a flat area in the shade of the birch trees for a cool lunch, and gooseberry and raspberry bushes to pick from for breakfast. For children, a treehouse with a secure terrace, their own private space. And then there is this area, to the left of the chalet, not overlooked at all: a large tree spreads its canopy over a large table, which is set against a backdrop of birch trees. At its foot, a small lavender bed and a deep green lawn, near the pool. It is there, in the cool shade of the foliage and out of sight, that breakfasts stretch out and dinners become moments suspended in time. A real slice of heaven. ALL AROUND, SOMETHING TO DO ALL WEEK The Sanctuary of Notre-Dame de La Salette is 15 minutes away, a timeless place for meditation and contemplation. A goat farm 5 minutes away on foot, with milking and fresh cheeses to enjoy on the large wooden table. Corps, a mountain village steeped in Napoleonic history, is 10 minutes away, with shops, restaurants and its classical music festival in August. Hikes for all levels starting from the chalet, with the Ecrins National Park nearby. SuperDévoluy and Orcières Merlette for downhill mountain biking, paragliding and golf in the summer. Lac du Sautet water sports center 20 minutes away, canoe, paddleboard, pedal boat. Petanque court 300 m away, and a hamlet so quiet that it is perfect for yoga and disconnecting. GUEST ACCESS You have the use of the entire chalet, interior, garden and terrace. Two possible entrances make it easy for families and groups to get organized. We trust you to take care of the place as if it were your own. GOOD TO KNOW The chalet is nestled in a small, quiet hamlet. You get there by car, which is essential for exploring the region. Remember to do your shopping in Corps, 10 minutes away. Ideal for a family or group of friends who like to spend time together.
