Guest access The house is located in a remote village Stržišče, which gives a special charm to your experience. With car you still have only 1h to Bohinj lake on one side and 1h to Soča valley on the other. Or you can try the motorail experience which makes the traveling exciting and quicker. Other things to note Stražišče is a remote village in the middle of nature. The closest supermarkets are 30 minutes away. The nearest larger shopping center is in Tolmin, about a 45-minute drive away. In Tolmin, you can visit the famous Tolmin Gorges, take a walk to the confluence of the Soča and Tolminka rivers, or take public transport to Javorca, where you’ll find the beautiful wooden church — considered the most remarkable monument of the First World War. What to see nearby: Baška grapa is a magical valley embraced by the Julian Alps, where wild nature meets rich cultural heritage. Stretching along the Bača River between Tolmin and Bohinj, it offers unforgettable experiences for lovers of peace, hiking, and genuine contact with nature.
