Our caista rests on @200 acres with an amazing view of the Monzano Mountains! Just 75 minutes southeast of Albuquerque, it offers easy access to the impressive Salinas Mission Ruins, the Cibola National Forest, and the quaint town of Mountainair. The brilliant blue skies, fragrant air, and stunning 360-degree views clearly showcase the best of New Mexico. If you would like to be in a stress-free amazingly beautiful environment, this is the place to be! The space We are a small working ranch with horses, cattle, chickens Casita Details: This non-smoking two bedroom unit can accommodate up to four guests. The casita is decorated in an eclectic southwestern style and has such luxurious touches as a wood burning fireplace, carved wood vigas, a herb garden, genuine cowhide rugs, and is decorated in southwestern style that adds New Mexican flavor. A full kitchen is furnished with ceramic counter tops and stainless steel appliances...and yes, we even have His and Hers robes and slippers for your use during your stay! Please be aware that we are approximately 3/4 mile from the BNSF Railroad which does NOT blow its whistle, but does run throughout the day and night. Guest access There is a private driveway to the casita. There is plenty of room to park any type of family vehicle. Other things to note Our ranch is full of animals that just might come to pay you a visit. There are wild animals, but with our donkey, they will stay clear of you. There might be a chance to see whitetail deer. Please drive slowly and be sure the gate closes behind you before you proceed. We love our animals, but chasing them on the highway is neither safe nor fun.
